I'm officially UNDER 300lbs!!! I'm feeling a lot better about my diet. After I talked to my nut last week I'm doing pretty good. Hopefully I can keep this up because at the end of June I'm going on a cruise to the Bahamas!!! And I will be in a cute bathing suit #fatgirlscanwearatwopeice lol

All the time!! I get up from my desk at work and the world is spinning. Also when I'm in my workout classes ....for some reason they always want me to bend over and get back up a lot.. Just pace yourself

SUGGESTIONS ON EATING OUT!
GenaW828 replied to GEAUX SAINTS's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I will admit I eat out way too much but when I do it is usually grilled chicken, steak or a burger no bun by the time I eat my Protein I'm stuffed. And also I go to places were I can look up the nutrition information. I love places that have nutrition calculators that way you can add and take away. -

@oatmealgirl I understand your pain. I get that way a lot when I get tired of eating meat eggs and cheese all the time. I miss my breads and it gets harder and harder to avoid them because its frustrating that you are so limited now. But we need this! We have to stick to it to get where we want to be. Not saying we aren't going to mess up and eat things we shouldn't but you just have to get back on that Protein packed horse the next day. It will be ok just keep your eyes on the prize!! -
My doctor said 12mos but I have read people getting pregnant 6 mos after the surgery. I think there is a thread on here that have some members that got pregnant before the allotted year.
-
Soy milk and pre made protein shakes and I'm 2 mos out.

i had like one sip of soda and the carbonation made me so gassy..to my understanding the reason we aren't suppose to drink the soda is because it can stretch out our stomach and in turn making the surgery in vain.

more than likely you are still swollen from the surgery and retaining Water. Your body just went through a lot of trauma. The weight will come off just have to be patient and let your body get us to the new stomach. easier said than done I know... I have to keep telling myself that everyday!! -
hang in there!! your body has to heal all over again. we are here for you! Praying for you!

I know it's hard to believe but I'm not a big fan of food..I can really just take it or leave it...with that being said I emotional eat. Weekends are hard for me...I have only eaten a total of 356 calories today and that was hard...I get busy then forget to eat..I think I'm sabotaging myself...does anyone have this problem where you just don't wanna eat.
-
I never really been interested in food. Right now I eat because I have to. Monday -Friday I can eat my 3 meals and be ok,, I thinks its the structure of the work day. But the weekends...horrible back to eating that one meal and since I can't eat much it looks like 3 chicken grilled chicken tenders around 5 at night.

@@Ronab I get that way too. My nut told me that is normal usually what I will do I will eat some of my food and save the rest for when I get hungry again. I think it is just due to how small our stomachs are now. -

Wow this really shows how different doctors are..I can't have more that 25 net carbs a day... I tried the low carb thing before my surgery and it didn't work for me. So I don't know how this is going to work. I feel like im not losing nearly what I could be. but I work out I log my food. idk -

I was sleeved on 12/4.. 2 mos. today!! I haven't been on a scale since my 6 week appointment. I only lost 3 lbs and I just got off of a stall the week before that appointment. But I'm hitting my protein goals water is close carbs are a daily struggle I haven't went over but it stresses me out to no end. I go back to the doctor in the 18th and I don't want that same feeling I had then. But I have been working out 5 days a week doing Zumba kickboxing and weights. I have had a lot of NSV so hopefully that scale has moved and I have hit that under 300 goal I want soo badly!! -
How about some NSVs!?!?

I'm 8 weeks today...and my calories range from upper 600's to mid 800's . My dietician told me not to worry about the calorie intake as much, we need to concentrate on getting 60 to 80 grams of protein , 25g or less net carbs and 64oz or more of water. that's what I have been trying to do... carbs are the hardest for me.. carbs are in everything lol . I hope that helped. -
@@crissylynn82 I'm glad you are doing better sending prayers your way. I see you are in TN where/who did your surgery?

I have noticed that sometimes when I sneeze or cough really hard it feels as though my stomach "flips" or "goes in on itself" . has anyone felt anything weird like that?

I had depression before the surgery so getting depressed after is just something that happens to me. But it's not any worse than before, the only thing is that I can't turn to food now for comfort. I will either go to the gym or play with my son. Just find something to get yourself moving and your mind off of things.
