  2. Hang in there I was so miserable the first week. But it does get better I promise. Just take your meds and try your best to stay comfy between walks.
  3. Congrats on getting your date! It was rough for me at first and I'm still finding my way but so far so good.
  4. How's everyone doing?? Had my surgery 3/25 and down 40lbs as of this week. It's slow but steady!
  5. I was March 25....my weight is averaging 10lbs a month.
  6. This week's marks 4 months since my gastric bypass was done. So I figured it was time to do a side by side comparison and boy was I wowed at the result!! Pic on left was me at my highest of 278...day of surgery I was 256, the pic on the right was this past weekend at my Bachelorette party and I'm at 216! Seeing the difference is really shocking and I can't wait to be able to post goal pictures!!!
  7. Almost 4 months out. Surgery was 3/25. Pic on left was 2 years ago this week I was on vacation in Hawaii at my highest weight of 278. On the right is me this past weekend at my Bachelorette party weighing in at 216!! I so couldn't be happier right now!

  11. I live in South Lakeland too! I have one more week of work before I'm off for the rest of summer. Mon, Wed, and Fridays work best for me in the evenings.

  14. So I have hit the 3 month mark and my hair is falling out right on schedule.....ugh!!! Anyone have any advice on how to slow it down....losing what seems to be handfuls at a time. To add to the stress my wedding is in 35 days!!

  17. RYN 3/25 down 23 lbs low energy level still but other than that feeling great.
  18. @@ReadyFourChange it's been a struggle but getting better everyday. I'm 6 weeks post op and just starting to feel a little mormal. Good luck with your surgery and may you have a quick recovery.
  19. I am 6 weeks out today and until just a few days ago I felt the exact same way. It does get better. I'm still struggling with protein and water....but seem to be adding a few more ounces every day. Keep your chin up and your eye on the prize.
  20. My best NSV yet....no more ppi's....dr. removed me from all Gerd related meds today!!! Now if I could get rid of these pesky allergies I'd be med free!
  21. @@tanya131313 so sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time. Are you up walking? The gas pains were the worst and the only thing to help is walking. I was off pain meds by day 4. And I thought I was dying the first 2 days. But it gets better quick. I hope it gets better for you soon.
  22. Checking in to see how everyone is doing....little over a month out. Down 20 lbs. Still sore but back to work. Soft foods are working out great and meeting my protein goals but not my fluids :-( working on that. Can't wait to start weight training in 2 weeks!!
  23. I like the Caltrate vanilla chews.
  24. Fluids are my struggle which doesn't help with my issues.....I think right now I just want one "normal" day....lol
