I think sometimes your body loses so fast that it stops for to chill out for a while. Lol
Why do so many people stall? Is this only with the Sleeve? Were you pretty active pre-op? I can't even imagine running to my car much less a mile. lolFinally did it! Lost 100 pounds!!! As I write this, I am at 101.6 pounds lost!!! I am 10 months out. Started at 271. Now 169.4!! Never thought people would call me skinny, but they are and I love it! I've had some major stalls where I thought my journey was over at 60, then 80, then 95 pounds. But you can't "quit" the plan because your stomache just won't allow for overeating! Which was always my trouble before. I'd get frustrated and overeat. Now I run 4 miles 3-4 times a week and I Love my new body! Love my new life! Wish I would have done it sooner!!!!!!!!!! Yay me!!!!! I'm gonna keep on keepin' on! Let's see how low I can go!!!!!!!!!!!

Normal. The pain is your stomach freaking out from being cut. It will protest in anger with all food and drink for a few days after surgery. This will get better everyday and will go away. You should just sip Water all day and aim for 64oz. It may take you a while to get there, but as long as your peeing 800cc a day, you won't get dehydrated. No regrets! You will be so glad you did this down the road!!

8 months out. Had a craving I couldn't control and ate 2 eggo waffles. Then... Ate 2 more right after that? Now, I don't do this all the time. But, how could I fit all that in me???? No restriction feeling at all!! Been more hungry lately. Stalled because I have been hungry and eating more. I've lost 90 pounds at this point, I still run 10-12 miles a week. What do you all think? Sleeve is stretched? Should I do all liquid to shrink it and get back to square one? Anyone else fit way more than they ever thought they could and it shocked them how easy it was? I'm not ready for this to be over yet! Got 50 more I'd like to lose!

Bariatric Fusion. Has everything all in one. 4 a day. 2 in the morning. 2 at night. Lots of different flavors. Taste pretty good!

Everyone in our doc office gets put on Ursodial if you still have your gall bladder. Losing weight fast causes your body to create stones. This med helps keep them from forming.
-
You need the new respironics auto adjusting machine. No set pressure. The pressure auto adjusts all night based on your needs which will be great as you lose weight!!

While on a field trip with my son's preschool class, another little boy asked me, "how'd you get so fat?" I was mortified in front of all the other kids and parents... I was DONE!!! Been fat since 2nd grade. It was time to change!

What kind of supportive after care do they offer. You don't want a surgeon that just does his work and you never hear from their office again. My doc offers support groups monthly, a gym membership for a year, lots of follow up nutrition and general check up meetings...

No way... You could still be on narcotics, too. Sitting and bouncing during the drive might drive your incisions crazy.
-
Take 4 Bariatric Fusion a day. Has EVERYTHING you need. They have different flavors and tastes pretty good.

You can also buy vanilla shake powder and add 2 tbsp of any sugar free Jello powder to make any flavor Protein Shake you want!

60 minimum

I was not to drink anything after midnight. Then made to pee right before going into the OR. No catheter for me. Woke up from anesthesia and went pee after surgery. Every doc is different.

Good luck!!! Wahoo!

Single means huge open vertical incision. Trust me, the pain is super severe as opposed to laparoscopy.

I agree with Elode... Meds and not enough Water. Urine should be pale yellow to clear if you're hydrated enough. Drink all day long!!

Keep our chins up everyone! With as little calories we are taking in, it has to keep going down. Our body has to adjust and will have it's moments. Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.

This post made me smile. My family was SUPER supportive as well! Best of luck on your journey!

15 cc every 15 minutes. More than this will cause that pain and pressure. Slow wins the hydration race. I was sent home with medicine cups to portion out Water and my Protein Shakes. Watch the clock and just get it in. Don't get behind or you will be super dehydrated and dizzy. Each day will get better. You will be able to double to 30cc every 15 minutes in a day or two.

I'm 2 weeks post op. Feeling great and want to start ramping up my exercise. How soon did you all start vigorous exercise or running? Am I doing this too soon?
