Did you lose a lot during your preop?
-
That's wild! I just made my one month anniversary yesterday. I've lost 9 lbs in 3 weeks, 17, since day of surgery,27lbs since 4/4. My dr. Is happy and reassured me that I will reach goal. I lost 4 inches from waist in a month INSANE!

Hope all of my buddies are doing well. My physician is awesome, I went back to work last Tuesday and have worked 5 shifts with no problems, its amazing to think just 2.5 weeks ago I was 20lbs heavier.
I too was sleeved 4/20

You go girl!

Looking awesome

I was just sleeved 4/20, , had no problems! I work on a busy surgical floor, took one week off, did wait until 1week follow up appt and told doc I was returning. I use common sense, energy level is great, walking a lot and not thinking about eating like I was the first week off. Added meal reminder to smart phone when it vibrates I eat. I keep Water bottles hidden on my COW. IT'S feasible.

Check in time for me is 945. In this moment, I'm feeling to blessed to be stressed!

Tomorrow is my big day, I'm excited, I'm taking 2 weeks off work, I'm a floor nurse. I'm praying for a speedy recovery !
-
April 20th too, start preop diet 4/15, per physician instructions but I may begin 4/13 for a full week!
-
Congrats on your big day!

How soon did you get surgery date after getting approved?
-

Just getting started at Ssm St. Louis. Anyone care to share information about their experience and maybe "life lessons".

Exciting, I too am a nurse, hoping for surgery end of Feb or March, I know what you mean as far as energy, I work on a surgical floor, day shift and it's so busy. I already know I'll have some challenges getting fluids in, pros- typical day I will loG 11000 steps on a pedometer

Thanks Wrightle for sharing, your wording was awesome, sounded more like a glitch than a hurdle, you will do well! I can tell by your optimistic narrative.

Those who judge will always judge, they are probably judging you now, don't worry about it.
