  1. I haven't told many people about my surgery, maybe less than 5. I always get comments about my weight but does anyone ever get annoyed by some of the things people say?

Someone literally asked if I was ok, like sick.. ill...

Other people straight out ask me how much weight I've lost or say wow you look like a complete different person did your doctor put you on a diet?

    Wtf!

I know my NSV's and the way I feel outweigh it all but those little comments really irk me!

I'm an introvert there is no way I'm going to tell someone an exact number as to what I've lost.

Sorry guys for the long rant! :) I do feel so good though!!

  2. Hi everyone,

The last few weeks I've been having trouble with Protein shakes! I'm on week 8 and weeks 1-6 it was fine getting my protein through shakes and these last few weeks My stomach has been hurting right after drinking them.feeling upset and gassy. Not sure why I was fine before but now I am not?

Two weeks ago I ran out of Premier Protein so I tried a few rockin refuels and also some 100% whey and they made my stomach upset. Finally got to costco and went back to my premier shake and that even made my stomach upset and had never before.

Could it possibly be the milk? Any ideas out there?

    Thank you!

  3. I have only told 4 people. My mom, my husband my brother and best friend. they've all been very supportive. I'm back at work and have lost almost 50 lbs, I feel great and I always get compliments at work. My surgery did happen after an ankle surgery I had so I hadn't seen anyone from work in 8 weeks they think it's all related to my ankle I just say I'm eating healthier cause I can't work out and watching my weight. High Protein low carb

  4. I had read something online about h pylori that about 70% of people have the bacteria and most show no symptoms at all.

I tested positive for It and took my meds, my second test came out negative. I'm not sure why I had it or what as I had never heard of it either but everything is good now!

I definitely freaked out about it for awhile so that's normal but don't worry too much! I'm sure those antibiotics will clear it up.

The amoxicillin gave me a yeast infection so that part sucked!

  5. I dont have PCOS but I have an IUD and rarely get a period and if I do it lasts less than 24 hours and it's spotting ( sorry if TMI)

When I was on my liquid diet pre surgery I got the heaviest period I had in years! and lasted very long. I thought it may have been due to my body changes.

I did get what I think was a Yeast infection post surgery.. my doc said probably cause of antibiotics - didnt last too long! haha sorry another tmi :)

  6. Okay, I am not sure if this is what you would classify as an "NSV" but I went out for the first time with my family tonight to dinner. I totally did fine having Soup ( still on liquid diet ) and I even brought home a TO GO BOX!!

Nobody's food bothered me like I thought maybe it would, it was our favorite little taqueria in town. I dont recall ever EVER bringing home to go boxes!!! Handled the Soup broth like a champ and brought home enough for the next day!!

    Very Happy Gal!

    Cheers!

  7. Hi everyone!

I'm about a week and a half post op and have lost about 36 pounds since pre surgery. I had an ankle injury that has had me off work for 8 weeks. I was at my highest weight when I left.

Fast forward to today, I start work next Tuesday and I'm finally putting on my work clothes and I look like I'm swimming in most shirts. Do you continue to wear baggy or look for fitted clothes right away? I'm struggling with what to do! I feel like I'm wearing a parachute in some shirts!

What did you do when this happened? Did you go fitted or kept wearing baggy clothes for awhile?
