Hey everyone! Just had my surgery on Tues 10/28! It's so weird, I almost don't even feel like I had major surgery 5 days ago! I can't wait til Monday to start on puree food lol, this liquid stuff is so boring. My family just ordered takeout from one of my fave Italian restaurants, and I'm sitting here sipping broth....for like the 3rd time today. ???? How is everyone else doing??

I am definitely in the same boat! I am 5 days post op now, and I'm not exactly getting that "full" feeling, but I'm not exactly "Hungry" either. I did have a little trouble last night as a big bowl of Halloween candy was just staring at me lol, so I sucked on a sugar free vitamin c drop for a few min. Other than that stuff, things seem to be going well, I haven't taken any pain meds since the hospital. I can't wait to move on to the pureed stage so I can eat egg salad or hummus, something that isn't juice or broth! I don't think I'll ever want to eat broth another day in my life after this week lol
