My name is Kristina. I am 25 years old. I was banded on April 1st, 2008. I am almost 4 months out and I have gone from size 26- 315 pounds, to a size 20-235 pounds. I have lost 80 pounds! Great right? I feel good but something is missing... I at times feel alone in this. I have a great support at work, but I am a teacher and I have the summer off, so the special women in my life that also had lapbands done are not there right now.
I know once school starts back and I get on a regular schedule again, everything will be great! I mean I have not a single thing to wear when school starts, I need all new clothes! YEA Shopping- but I am going to lose more weight- at least I hope to lose another 20 by summers end and 50 more by my year anniversary! So that is kinda bumming me out... but in a good way.
What else... Well, working out- what is that I mean, I go on walks but have never really worked out since I got my band, and I know that is why my weight lost has slowed down... I have really wanted to get up and work out... But I dont want to do it by myself.
I have good boyfriend, and we have been together for years! We live together and he really wants to buy a house, and worry about getting married later, but we are not even engaged. I know he wants to be with me but I'd rather have a ring on my finger than a house together... but I wouldn’t mind having a ring on my finger in the new house:) For the longest time he wouldnt even look at me... Dont even want to talk about it... Things are different because I have lost so much weight. I love him very much, things haven’t changed much since my band, but I think he is very jealous of it and he being larger too doesn’t help. I just wish he would change a little bit sometimes... he is set in his ways. I do love him with all my heart.
I think that is it for now. I have never blogged before- kinda cool:)
