I am an OB nurse and my surgeon insisted on 6 weeks off due to the physical requirements of my job.

I was very open about my surgery with friends and co workers. A lot of people who did not know we're afraid to ask. People Are now getting used to seeing me. I am always glad to talk with those who have questions I am proud of my continued success
People will notice the more you see them and lose the pounds. Keep up the great work!

Sleeved April 29th. Down 41 pounds since surgery so counting 51 pounds I lost before surgery, I am down 92 pounds!

I have the same question too. My initial start weight was 261. While waiting for surgery about 7 months making life style changes and doing the insurance requirements I lost 51 pounds. When figuring out percentages of anticipated weight loss I am assuming it will be configured by my actual pre op weight of 210 lbs. ten weeks out I am down 41 pounds and will be meeting my initial goal of 150lbs very soon. I will be setting another goal then. I am 5'4 and my surgeon's notes has her goal as 131lbs. Don't want to go below that weight.

I was freaked out when I saw the YouTube videos on loose skin. But I powered through it and am glad I had the surgery. I lost 51 pounds before surgery and am down another 40 lbs since surgery. Sure I have saggy skin. My husband doesn't care. He Is just happy I am healthy. You can do it too!

I went from a 44 D to a 38 G (i was informed that a G cup was like a DDDD cup! If you have a chiropractor-I recommend you see them when you feel out of alignment. Weight loss-especially a rapid one-83 lbs over 9 months-can cause some strain on your body. And frequent body massages if your insurance covers it or if you treat yourself. I definately recommend getting fitted for a bra as well. Lots of changes ahead!

bcbs Alaska. 6 month consecutive months documented weight management psychiatric visit just one Made sure they got all the info they have a great case management department that helped tremendously. If your company has one use them. First time in 30
Years I really liked dealing with insurance company.

I am 10 days pre-op and I am getting nervous-you would not be human if you were not. Think of all of the work you have done in preparation pre-op and for the post op life-that is what is keeping me calm. I have worked too hard to give up now! Hang in there! Keep up the great work!

I am April 29th too! Congrats! Getting mine done in Seattle (live in Alaska). Day two of my 14 day pre op diet-not too bad! Actually lost a pound from yesterday! Learned one thing from this formum-never trust a fart!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
