  1. justajackie-

Wow I like that. How did you get your pic on? I just tried again????

you know you can private message people on here? Just thought I'd share. I noticed you're blowing this thread up with a lot of messages that aren't really for all readers eyes. :-)

  2. I'm glad I found this thread. I went to my post op appointment and lost 12lbs in one month. I wasn't too excited, but any loss is good. The doctor says that it's great, too much too soon for my body type isn't good. I also have a large muscular build, also the reason I see more inches lost than pounds. The Doc also recommend that I do 40g carbs, 15g sugar or less and keep calories to 1000 per day so that has helped me lose an additional 4lbs this past week. I still want like 30lbs off per month! Lol. Which for my body isn't realistic.

  3. South Florida in Wellington, Lake Worth, Boynton Beach area? I'm 5 days post op! Would love to find someone who knows my struggles. These normal stomach people don't get it!!!!

I live in Boca Raton. My date will be on may 11th. I'm 5'4 and 215. I'm not getting any support from friends or family.

Well congratulations to you! You'll do fine. Do you have any support of friends that can help you out after surgery? just hang in there, because I was in the same position recently. my parents live almost 3 hours away from me, and my mom is bedridden sick, making it impossible for either my mom or my dad to make it down to help me. But with God and supportive friends I'm doing well. The first few days after surgery were the worst, but now I feel better. I was sleeved on March 30th 2015. Good luck to you.

  4. Hey! I was sleeved by dr bass 12/22/14. I'm down 54lbs as of this morning. It was honestly the best decision I could've made :) it's nice to see a group of other dr bass' success stories!

Yes. Dr. Bass is awesome. I'm only 3 days out and still feel sick. I hope it passes soon so I can see the reward.

  5. I was sleeved 2 days ago and I feel like crap! I feel nauseous and the medicine the doctor gave me does not help nausea . I'm watching TV and all these commercials of food make me sick to my stomach. and I'm so sensitive to any smell in My Home makes me want to throw up. I wonder if this is normal? I wonder if I did the right thing.# feeling scared right now

    how did surgery go??

    how are you feeling??

hope things are going well :)

keep up the good work ;)

Is not going to be on till March 30th. it had to be put off because I struggled so much with following the pre op diet in the whole preparatory program. however the good news is that I stuck to a two week pre op diet or liquid diet on my own and lost 14 pounds so I should be good to go on March 30th to have surgery, and I'll be doing another liquid 7 day liquid diet starting March 23rd

  7. just as an FYI, i had nothing to do with exploding this post..it was not my fault... this time. :D

    Lol.

My Dr said that I only have to do 2 days soft diet and 2 days liquid diet. By no means should you go by this but it is my instructions.. Going from being a compulsive eater to such a harsh diet is hard. If it was easy none of us would need weight loss surgery. Don't be hard on yourself, you got this!

    Amen to that!
