  1. I'm scheduled in March with the Dr.'s listed above. I'm just wondering if any one has had their VSG with them, if so how was your experience & how are you doing to date? Any info would be appreciated. I did lots of research and I'm looking forward to my new beginning! Happy holidays!

    soft food stage

You can add non flavored protein powder to your food. Eat tuna or chicken salad.
  3. @@Okiebon Yes, please that would be great.
  4. I am scheduled with Be lite weight on 3/20/15. Originally at Hospital Angeles in TJ. I was also called and asked to change over to Juarez at the Star Medica hospital. I was told that hospital Angeles is in debt and increasing the fees to compensate. I agreed to go to Juarez because I want to stick with Dr. Rod & Dr. Elmo, also the hospital looks to be great! Please let me know what you choose to do. Best of Luck to US ALL!

    Caffeine

Hi! I'm new to this, but wanted to chime in. I'm scheduled for vsg on 3/20/15 and have slowly trying to kick my bad habits. Soda for me was a huge part of my life! I'm talking wake up and drink a coke, go to bed drinking a coke and not to mention all the cokes I drank during the day!!!! I decided to try to kick this addiction prior to my life style change. I started off slow switching from coke to diet. I drank one less coke a week until I only had three a day. Next was subbing one diet for one diet caffeine free until I was fine with all caffeine free. One day I just started getting Water. I have not had soda of any kind in 7 months! Good luck to you, it's a hard thing to give up but well worth it!
  9. I'm new this this, bum am looking to schedule my Vsg in late Feb or early March. I'm looking at Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Elmo. What dates are you looking at????
  10. I see several old posts about Doctors in Mexico and was wondering if any has gone down this year to have their procedure done. I have three doctors I am looking into Dr. Kuri, Dr. Jose Rodriguez-Villarreal and Dr. Elmo Aramburo, or Dr. Almanza. The costs and facilities are almost the same, one doctor is not at the same hospital as the other two. At this point I am just looking for others opinions before deciding which avenue to go. I was going to wait around for insurance but after yesterday I am ready to get the help I truly need. I'm just wondering if you got your surgery yet, if so who did you choose and how was your experience??? Best of luck to you!
