  6. I had my surgery on October 31, 2014. My pre op weight was 247. 20lbs away from one of my heaviest weights. The lowest I ever got on my own was 205. I have never been able to get past that number no matter how hard I tried. This morning I weighed in at 210. I have mixed emotions because I'm 5 pounds from my lowest weight and I know that this time there won't be the horrible battle when I get this close to being under 200lbs.
  7. It'll come off! Your body is adjusting. I didn't lose any weight my first week po.
  8. Sip water and give it time. You'll be fine
  9. I just got a small decaf cause I was dying!!! I ended up doing 8 oz of coffee and 4 ounces of milk in the 12 oz cup. It's a snack with protein!
  10. If you're craving something (that can be safely eaten) eat it in moderation!!! If you don't, sometimes you end up doing more harm just trying to compensate the craving with other things...
  11. Today a very dear friend of mine was laid to rest after battling cancer. ???? As it usually goes with a loss of a loved one, at least with me, I eat my emotions. I'm three weeks post op and obviously at the luncheon couldn't eat especially enough to eat my feelings away. After it was all over I felt more drained then I ever did before with losing a loved one ( not to sound sappy but I've lost quite a few). Even at the end of the day I feel like I've had no energy, almost like when your sick, not depressed. I've gotten my calories and Protein in and everything. Is this what it really feels like when you can't use food as your comfort? It's like my body is sad lol. Thoughts?
  12. Cassandra the muffin top is because your cup size is too small.
  13. I can't wait to start line dancing again! In 2 hours I would dance my way through 4 miles without realizing it!
  14. I have the pain on my right side!!! I would hope after a month it goes away. The doctor said I'm fine but I'm still tender everywhere else too. I guess it will go away as everything heals. I'm two weeks post op.
  15. I sometimes take a gasx before I eat. It helps a lot!
