Mmmmm.....Love me some good chicken broth!

Given the fact that I can no longer hold my liquor and was feeling pretty darn tipsy one of those nights....they still must have looked good. HAHAHAH

hurts my back to wrap gifts. I am thankful that people notice what a nice job i do. When my grown son saw the gifts under the tree, he said one of his best childhood memories was the fact that I always took care in boxing and wrapping presents. that I always made sure there were boxes of all different sizes and shapes with many different kinds of paper and ribbons. It made all that back pain worth it! I guess the good news is, I now wrap them over a period of a few days and always with a nice glass of Pinot gris in hand!

Clearly she is a bit immature and looking for attention. Well, she got it. And you do look HOT or 50!

I was kind of thinking the chloroform would knock me out too. Could not fall asleep until after 2:30 am and then this lousy cold had me up at 6:30. Have to take father n law to the doctor this morning so i can not go back to bed.

@theantichick, First....don't talk to me about the cold. It has been in the negative temps here is Wisconsin but only after dumping about 10 inches of snow on us.

Secondly...I would really like to figure out why I am getting so many migraines. i too have been on a run for the last 6 weeks. I am using my Dihydroergotomine too often and its so expensive and hard to get that I wish it would stop. None of my usual stuff is working for me.

I am so tired......I could use some coffee. Unfortunately I have picked up a nasty cold and it is not allowing me to sleep because it is hard to breath.

Way to go!!!

I am sure the moment school is out she will be calling me again. Or the little smarty pants will call before school tomorrow morning when I am still sleeping. Haha.....

I miss my grandparents too. Not to mention my own parents.

I better catch up on buglegate. Some of these people are just crazy!

Just got an update from my BIL. Mary's heart shows improvement so they are checking some other things but they may be able to add her to the liver transplant list. We are hoping to find out in the next 12 to 24 hours.

Good luck on your surgery tomorrow! After that, you wont care about those other places for a while!

Thanks everyone for the prayers and warm wishes. I have to believe the prayers are working so far because she has made it this far and we have been told everyday she has a less than 10% chance. Mary is a fighter and she is definitely fighting hard to stay with us. Thanks so much!

We just came back from the hospital. She is still listed as critical and not stable. We were told today that at this time, she is NOT a good candidate for a liver transplant. This is because now the fluid build up is impacting (putting pressure) on her heart and she would not survive the 8 - 12 hour transplant procedure. They are working to lower the pressure on her heart. She is on a liver dialysis and kidney dialysis machine round the clock and if not for these machines she would have passed away already. She is also still on life support, not breathing on her own. She is aware but heavily sedated and that is helping with the pain. I am very worried for her husband. He has not slept in days and he looks like it. He sleeps with a cpap and has not been able to leave her side other than for a quick bite to eat. Tonight he is going to go home for a few hours and get some rest and a good meal. We were told if things improve, there may be a chance for a new liver and we were also told she needs one so if things dont improve it is clear we will lose her. There is a tiny tiny chance that her liver gets clean enough and it could start to turn around, but then her kidneys are putting out nothing right now. They said, the liver has to get fixed first.

I agree.....its not cheating it is living and knowing how to plan or those foods that you have to pay more attention to. The 90/10 rule.....I call it.

I will have to try that. I am going to make barbacoa beef in mine tonight. I have never made it but see it all the time on pinterest and for some reason i crave a little heat in my food. I am also ordering some bread cheese today!
