1. Step away from the scale. You should weigh yourself no more than once a week. Personally I only weigh myself once a month or when I go to the doctor's whichever come first. Weighing yourself everyday will make you crazy.
Instead take your measurements. Neck, breast, waist and hips. Every 2 -3 months or so take your measurements again. Even when the scale does not move, comparing your measurements will show how your body is changing and adjusting.
2. Make sure you are following your program. That means getting at least 60 gms of Protein, plus your water/fluids and you are following the basic rule of Protein first then veg. Also add in some form of exercise for at least 30 minute a day.
All you have to do is go to your primary for six consecutive months and have them document your attempts at weightloss. Your surgeons office can let you know what wording is required to get approval. All my doctor wrote was I exercise 3 days a week and have making various attempts to loose weight either but cutting carbs, no soda etc and it was sufficient and by the way I didn't loose one pound during the six months. It seems to be a formality.
