I can have puree on Wednesday so we are in the same boat. I am sure these 4 days will go by quickly. Congrats on feeling pain free!

I am on puree but I am eating things like tuna and mayo, refried Beans with a little cheese on top, and I tried a soft cooked egg last night but it didn't sit right with me. Yes, the liquids are getting a bit old. I know it's a short term thing, just having a rough day Can't wait until puree.

Went for my follow up appt, all is well. The only thing is four more days of liquid diet, aaaaarrrrggghhh!!!

Wow, you are back to work!!! You are amazing. I went to the grocery and it tired me out lol. Keep up the good work!

Stenochick, yes the Protein powders are yuck now. The only one I can consistently drink is skim +carnation SF+ GENEPRO unflavored. Sometimes you need to just take it easy.

How is everyone doing? I feel a little better every day. My first post-op appt is Friday.

I can still do milk +carnation SF + genepro unflavored in the morning which is close to 40 grams of protein. All of the rest of the 5 flavored Syntrax i bought I can't tolerate. I can also do isopure alpine punch ready to drink. I have been trying to do some soup with protein mixed in. It does get repetitive

Glad everything is cleaned up. Focus on hydration for sure.

I am still in the hospital. The second day was bad with pain. My heart rate was up so they monitored me an additional day want to rule out infection. I'm possibly getting discharged today. I was a bit emotional on day 2 and 3. Overall starting to feel better. Glad my leak test on day 2 was fine, getting transported down there was challenging in the wheelchair. I feel much better today, hopefully I can shower which will help. Sorry for the ramble. How are things going for you?

I am only one extra day out, hang in there.

Surgery was Monday, a little rough going with the pain. Still at the hospital. I hope I can get discharged today and round the corner to feeling better.
