There is poop and I cant poop
Been there...done that. Suppositories were my answer. It was the most uncomfortable feeling ever. I thought I was dying. I now use chia seeds on a daily basis in almost all of my drinks.

Maintenance is not what I expected.
I've been walking/jogging every other day. Still losing but it is slowing down which I'm good with. Was trying to stay at 200 but my body isn't cooperating. Already at 195. My goal is to 5k, 10k, then marathons.

Pre op
I agree. Your doing awesome. Follow the guidelines and never stop walking.

I don't understand these stomach pains @ 3 days post op
Your stomach is probably trying to adjust to the change. It may be a build up of acid. I never had acid refluxed/gerd until after my surgery. Now I just stay away from spicy foods to prevent it. If your nutritionist is ok with it, try some frozen sugar free Popsicles. They were very soothing for me after my surgery.

Great restaurant options for maintenance
Are you all still careful with soups. I've always strained my soups so that the only thing I take in are the solids.

Goal! Like they say in soccer
I've pretty much reached my goal. Down 125 pounds. I will definitely be reading these posts regularly. Finding ways to maintain and keep the weight down is my new goal. I may lose more but my personal goal was 200 pounds. I go jogging regularly. So recommendations on what you all are doing would be great. I'm a police officer so it's great to be where I'm at now. One thing I have done different is I've started drinking Spark on the days I plan to jog/run. Has anyone tried this any?

Slow down
I have lost 125 pounds and am getting really close to my goal weight of 200 pounds. Is there a way to slow weight loss down. I don't want to go to far past 200. I do workout a lot and go jogging frequently and want to continue that. Any fellow veterans have any info?

Why Did You Choose Your Specific Type of Weight Loss Surgery?
I chose the gastric sleeve after I researched all of the options. After talking to my surgeon, I made my mind up.

Just got my date! 12/15
I was sleeved on 15th also and just checking on how you are feeling. I had a small issue but recovered and now feeling great. My incisions are crazy itchy but I'm dealing with it. Still on liquids but now able to handle all of my water intake.

Finally got a date
My insurance required me to visit a dietician once a month for 4 months and also to see a psych doc. It took 2 weeks for approval from insurance...so about 5 - 6 months.

Finally got a date
