    Went to my PCP yesterday.....I am now off of all of my diabetes medicine...YEA! I have one more medication to get off of and then I only have to take thyroid and my vitamins...YEA! I broke down and bought smalled pants. Was not going to buy anything because I have a closet full of clothes I have been dragging out and wear again for the "First" time but it feels so good to have on smaller pants and pants that fit!!!

      That is awesome!! I see my pcp tomorrow for the last time before surgery on Tues, the 18th.....the time has gone by so fast, can't wait for it to be behind me so I can start on my new adventure!!

      My wt is 300 lb's,..I'm 74 yr's old..my first question for the doctor was, Am I over the age limit, he smiled and said not at all!!

    day 4 of pre-op liquids, feeling good. Not really hungry but i've tried to stay away from food and the sight of food because my head hunger is trying to mess with me. Three more days then one day all clear liquids and it's all over :)

      Just started my journey with a consult with my bariatric surgeon...feeling excited also scared waiting on insurance approval talking one day at a time.

      Does the doctor give you your pre-op protien drinks, or can you order them on line.
