  1. @@Inner Surfer Girl I'm kind of surprised my stomach acid would be low. I haven't been taking my PPI the last few days because I'm try to see if I'm going to be ok without it. I missed it once way back in the beginning and woke up puking on acid. It was traumatizing to say the least. I have another 3 month script to pick up but I was curious to see how I would do w/o it. I guess according to the beets my stomach acid is low enough it's not metabolizing some nutrients so now that has me a bit worried....
  2. Well I did the "beet test". I didn't plan on doing such a thing It just so happens I've been on a roasted beets and Brussels sprouts kick. I had a minor freak out session when I went pee and it was red. TMI, I know but it's for a purpose. Anyway I knew it wasn't blood so I started doing some research and found my answer. I have never had this happen prior to surgery. I would remember something like that! So It's a sign of low stomach acid and other things. I posted the article below. I don't know if I should be worried or not so I will ask my NUT about it . I find it pretty interesting though so I thought I would share. It's a natural test you can actually do yourself. Our bodies are just too cool! I think I'm going to start taking some probiotics. Now, if there's a shortage of beets I will know why. You're welcome!
  3. Check back In 10 months.
  4. @@Lexuskela We're like twins in all that! @@TealSister ha! Look at you! Cute!!
  5. @@AvaFern Thank you! Good to know all that just in case. It would be last on my list but something I may consider.
  6. One of my favorite sayings! Now you know better
  7. @@TealSister Look at you!!! Check, check and check those boots off!
  8. @@AvaFern Are the scars bad? I've thought about doing that but I'm afraid of the scars. I can hide a TT and breast lift/implants but not arms unless I wear long sleeves, which I do always.
  9. @@Namaste6 I used a candle warmer for a plate warmer while I ate. It took me FOREVER in the beginning so I just put my little baby plate on it and it kept my food warm. I don't have that problem now. I need to slow down.
  10. Sending prayers and love your way! Godspeed!
  11. @@Gayle Ok I'm a bit confused so you got to your goal weight but have now put all the weight back on?
  12. Not me @@Babbs! I want to be bad and not appropriate!! What better time to do it than in disguise?!
  13. @@OKCPirate You better not! You may not make it to winter! It's cold welcome the body heat!
  14. @@jenn1 I want to wear a costume too! I've never done a 5k but I know we have them thanks for the ideas I'm going to look into that!
  15. She may be doing all those things listed above but I've learned that no matter what size a woman is they are rarely happy with their bodies. You and I would thinks she's small and should be happy about that but maybe she doesn't want to be that skinny? Maybe she's not happy being small? Who knows. Girls are always so hard on themselves.
  16. @@tfarr We are pretty close to the same. It's harder now to lose. I'm actually pretty happy where I'm at. How much more are you wanting to lose? I'm with you girl I wanted to lose 16 more but it seems like it's going to be really hard to get the rest off. I will probably have to start exercising to get it off. It's hard to stay motivated this long. I was thinking about doing a liquid diet for a week to see if that kicks the sweets addiction I've been having. I still don't eat much but when I do I just want to eat cookies
  17. I never did use one. With what little I ate I got through the purée/ mushy stage on refried bean, ricotta cheese, and soft foods like that. It couldn't hurt to get one.
  18. @@Momcat I'm 11 months and I eat 800-1000 a day. I am more hungry now than I was.
  19. @@OKCPirate True! He's lucky he had a good yapper. Then on our fist "official" date he insisted I bring my girls to the movies with us. They sat right between us lol! He took us to dinner, played with them at the arcade and bought them all the junk they wanted at the movies. He pretty much suckered me in!
  20. @@wannaBthinsoon lol! She would probably disagree with you but thank you! I LOVE those boots! If they come available again they are defiantly worth the money. So comfortable! I want more colors!
  21. @@Sajijoma I always had a boyfriend so the only time I really ever had a "date" was after I had talked to this guy on the phone for hours. A mutual friend of ours thought we would like each other so he called after a few weeks and we talked for days. The first night I ever met him I had him come to my besties house. I was a single mom at the time so there was no way some strange man was going to know where I lived. He came over dressed in tight-ish pants, round glasses, a black turtle neck, with checkard shoes. He sat on the couch with his legs crossed. My friend Christina was like 'ummm no, I'm pretty sure he's gay". Nice but gay. I was nice. He drove in a ice storm to come meet me. After about an hour of chatting he left. I didn't think I would ever talk to him again after that.....5 years later we got married! It definanly wasn't "love at first sight" but we connected on all other levels. He got me with his thoughtfulness and communication skills. Now 8 years later I just wish he'd shut the hell up. Oh and we got rid of those clothes....except for the shoes, they are tokens in my closet.
  22. I did too and that lasted about 6 months. Not so much anymore. I still can't eat much so it's working but I do get hungry now.
