Scheduled for plastics! Advice?
Hi everyone! After weeks of overwhelming research and headaches I finally found a PS I'm thrilled with and am scheduled for surgery April 6th!!!! I'm excited and down right terrified. Terrified because like a moron I repeatedly watch TT YouTube videos and trust me when I say they are horrendous looking, and I work in healthcare. So I'm scheduled for a full tummy tuck with muscle repair. My surgeon says I have about 3 inches of muscle separation. Also a breast augmentation. I'm going big but I'm Italian and have the large Italian boobs complements of my Nonna! Well deflated boobs now. We decided on 750cc as of now. We are hoping to avoid a lift by using a larger implant to fill the space. I originally had a 40 DDD bust so the size is not a factor for me. I prefer it. Any advice about either procedure would be greatly appreciated. Anything....maybe what you feel was necessary to have at home to help with recovery? Any tips or tricks. I know it's going to be painful. "I think I'm going to die" (see already prepared) I've had 3 c-sections and of course VSG so my stomach has been through it! She's also taking out all 3 of my c-sections scars. I'm not worried about the TT scar. I can't believe it's time for all of this already! Thank you for any and all help you can provide!

Eating problem after surgery!
It's normal. They cut a lot of Ghrelin out when they take your stomach. That's a "hunger" producing hormone. It will come back with time. Just do the best you can. Protein is great but water/ fluids are your best friend. Keep working at it. Good luck.

Totally hating myself
You'll be ok. Do you have someone else in the house that can do cooking at this time? That's what I did. I left it to my husband and stayed in my room at feeding times lol!! Hey it worked, I never cheated. If that's a option do it.

I was cleaning out my closet and found the 3x pair of scrubs I wore the day before surgery. I can fit both legs in one leg!!! So cool! AND I wore my daughters outfit yesterday. This is so much fun! Thank you Jesus for giving me the renewed life I have now. You probably can't tell but those scrubs were tearing at the seam they were so tight. 14 months later and I wear a small. That's all, just thought I'd share. Hope everyone is winning their own battle! Stay strong, it's worth the efforts. I cut my head off the scrub picture because I was looking a hot mess. I was cleaning!

This has been a headache! I finally booked an appointment with a surgeon here for the 25th. I want someone close in case anything happens. Unless I change my mind so far I'm going with this.

Husband left me!
This may sound cruel but....BYE! Seriously if he's going to leave you at a time like this over the assumption that you "might leave him later" he's too weak for you. What if you get cancer, a terminal illness, lose a leg, hell a finger?! If he's feeling froggy tell him to jump!! Bygones! You're going to need a strong support system and he's obviously not it. Through sickness and in health. He broke his promise now you focus on you! If he truly loves you he'll be back and he can hope you'll even want him. You find out real quick who's there for you in your times of need and who isn't shit....its a good thing really. You may not think that now but give it time, you'll see the light! Now........

How much did you lose the first month?
I'm not sure but I'd say that's really good. Don't make yourself crazy depending of numbers. Wasn't that frustrating enough before surgery? Just do what your suppose to do and the weight will come off. Good luck girl!

Did anyone's spouse lose attractiveness when they got close to goal?
@@Chrystee My husband didn't say that but he did say "I think you looked the best at 180" ummm excuse me! Well I think you look best without a black eye soooo. That was nearly 40 lbs ago. Then I remembered at 267 he never told me I was fat....his opinions are now null & void! He can't be trusted in the weight determining department so he's found it best just to shut up. Which is just the way I like it!

My all inclusive total for a breast lift with (large silicon anatomical implants) and a tummy tuck will be 10,100. Plus he will reimburse me 600 for my plane ticket. That includes food, compression garments, medications, hospital, nurse care, surgery, transportation ect.... Everything. That's great considering my surgeon here wants close to 16,000 and that's with saline not anatomical implants with only 1 hospital day then I'm on my own at home. You have to be comfortable with whatever you chose and I'm getting more comfortable with Mexico by the day.

Finally! Plastics time! Tell me everything!
@@KristenVSG2014 See now that's why I want to go the Mexico route because the Dr said I will have a nurse come to my hotel everyday for the 12 days and get me dressed, change my bandages ect.. Plus he will be coming by also. I worry about the long term after care but I have a primary DR if anything happens I will see her and she will send me where I need to go. Insurance should cover that kind of thing. If I need a in state plastic surgeon then I have on of those too I can see. It's a toss up.

@@katladee Thank you so much! I did wear those legging, out of the house and in public and everything! First time in public. I think this summer I'm going to pass those boots of. Like the traveling pants on boots. They were my first NSV. The one I wanted the most and now they're too big around the legs but I still love them. They need to go to someone else on this journey who will love them as much as I do/did.
