  1. @@TereseG Water is a pain! Especially in the early stages. It does get better as time goes by. I was just like you and now 3 months out I can drink as much as 90oz a day. I know in the very beginning I had to drink coconut water because it was easier to get down and it's a super hydrator.
  2. Oh and PS I learned About the machine from a sleeve Youtuber! She's was so smart! I got ours at Walmart and I think I paid 40 bucks for it. Well worth the money but DO NOT put it in the dishwasher! I found that out the hard way but they replaced it for me (melted the plunger that pushes the fruit down)
  3. Nice! And everyone should own a "desert bullet!" (I just realized I've been calling it a magic bullet! Omg!! Thats so wrong...and embarrassing! Any who, it's the BEST little machine I own! If you don't know what it is its a machine that you feed fresh semi frozen fruit into and it comes out just like ice cream!! If your fruit is too frozen it's more of sherbet. It really is amazing and it's a health alternative to most sugar filled processed deserts. Plus my kids LOVE it!
  4. Ps I couldn't do the vitamin powder mix...made me gag!
  5. @@blashlee Ha! I got those too back before surgery! They are good. I didn't end up ordering them though because I found a chewable pineapple Vitamin I liked better.
  6. @@mysleeve Aww thanks! No I don't have any regrets. I LOVE to cook (and I'm damn good at it) sometimes after I cook A big dinner for the family I sit down to eat and can only eat maybe 5-6 bits max and I get aggravated but then I think about how much I would have ate had I not had surgery (a ridiculous amount) and the aggravation goes away and Its replaced with thankfulness. I'm thankful that I can no longer damage my body with unhealthy amounts of food.
  7. I haven't had a stall BUT I've mean a million times to up your calories and it seems to help...

  9. @@mysleeve well your not having her kind of surgery and your a completely different person so I wouldn't base her outcome on yours! No worries!
  10. Oh BUT if I drink a bunch of water 90+ oz I feel like I can eat more...weird I know. Before surgery people would always say "oh just drink a lot of water it will keep you from being hungry" bull! Total opposite!
  11. @ Mine doesn't change throughout the day but it changes from day to day. Sometimes I eat ok and other days I'd rather just drink my shakes and eat quest bars. I don't Have any hunger though so it's easy for me to just not eat.
  12. @@Izzyizzy Well that stinks! So what does your Dr think it is now? Sorry I don't have any good advice For you but I hope they get you figured out so you can start feeling better!
  13. @@finediva I thought I was losing it somewhat slower than most 50 lbs in 3+ months but maybe not... @@danagadd Did you lose a lot of weight fast?
  14. @@Christi6972 sucks! And it's not fair! It's bad enough that we had to be overweight and now to be at a healthy weight we have to lose our hair! Ugh! Ok rant over!
  15. @@mae7365 I take the zinc and folic acid now too AndI have before in the past but one of them makes me deathly ill if I don't eat first. I don't know if that will happen to you but I would eat first!
  16. @@heynowkc I just added extra iron to my regimen yesterday
  17. @@Queenfreak Wow first month! I have a cute hair cut picked out but I'm going to see how bad it gets And use some extensions first. Only because my hair is the longest it's been in 20 years....so naturally it would fall out ;(
  18. @@Bonawanabfree I've heard that before but I've had 3 c-sections and never lost any hair...unless they are using so other drug? I'm not so sure about that though people get put to sleep everyday in surgery and don't lose hair.
  19. @@Praiseiii Sorry it can be scary but not so much if you prepare for it. That's the only reason why I didn't freak out. I already knew even before surgery that it could happen.
  20. @@MichiganChic Do you remember what your calorie intake was at that time? And protein?
  21. I hope so too. I keep my nails short so I probably wouldn't notice that.
