  1. Try making some kale chips. There are a ton of recipes and you can doctor them up however you please with seasonings.
  2. Our bodies do some crazy things after surgery. I've never had Blood sugar issues but while in the hospital it sky rocketed to the point I was being checked every 2 hours and given insulin. It all went away the day I left. Weird.
  3. My experience: I had pain directly after waking up. Day 3-5 where probably the hardest (at home) I had nausea only at the hospital when I stood up but subsided when I left so I never used my nausea prescription. I had a lot of stomach "demon"'noises going on. You can expect the barium swallow test to taste like HELL water in a cup...gross but unfortunately necessary. You can expect to not be able to drink fluids real well for awhile and you can expect to forget all of this in a month or twos time.
  4. I probably wouldn't go over 4 oz but how much does your NUT/surgeon tell you to have?
  5. Waiting is the worst.
  6. Anything that make you comfortable, soft plush clothing ect...good luck!!!
  7. I have the sleeve. I had full intentions of having GB but on first visit my surgeon said sleeve was the best option for me, I trusted him and his opinion And I'm glad I did. I wouldn't choose anything else. I don't know anything but this and I'm happy with it so why wonder?
  8. You know what's funny? I had surgery In part to AVOID being a "lab rat" later in life from the consequences of being over weight and unhealthy my whole life. If you think a couple months process is bad you better hope and pray you don't stay over weight and get any diseases associated with it. You'll think lab rat. Like I said before all the hating GOOD LUCK!!!
  9. @@applegal79 Yes, you should call your DR and ask for a prescription for a PPI. If for some odd reason they won't give you one then ask them what antacid you can have over the counter. You don't want that acid to hurt your new stomach or cause ulcers.
  10. @@x0CheekzVSG Yes it will be
  11. @@Kimberly Gibson Are you taking the chewable?
  12. @@leylada Just wait until you get to real food.
  13. @@katielynne83 These are wafer, if you can't have wafers, tablets, or gummies, then I don't know what the heck you would have left to choose from that's chewable?
  14. Here are a couple I found for you...
  15. Yes water can be hard I drink it better with something in it too. Do you like coconut water? I drank coconut water in the beginning stages because it's a Super hydrator @@FloridaSleeveGuy it's high in potassium and low in carbs it hydrates better than plain water and doesn't have the sodium like sports drinks.
  16. Are you getting in enough fluids? Dehydration can cause your muscles to contract. @@FloridaSleeveGuy are you taking vitamins?
  17. They are popular the chocolate is all I drink. Glad you like them. Good luck on your surgery!
  18. I choose the sleeve because my DR said it was best and I trusted his decision.
  19. Good luck! Hope we don't see you here again! In a nice way of course! You don't even have to worry about blocking people anymore! I'm sure you will do just fine on your own like you said people do it ALL the time...their just not real good at seeing as over half of the population is obese. Hopefully you will be an exception! Good luck!!!
  20. I've never heard of any firming cream actually working. They have products that can work for short periods of time but nothing Permanent but just because I haven't heard of it doesn't mean nothing lets just a wait and see if someone else has
