When will my energy be back:(

@@deannada2 I felt pretty good after a week. If your able to get your water and protien in you should bounce back pretty quickly. Make sure you take your vitamins and if your Suregon offers you a b-12 shot at your check up that should help! Good luck to You!

Why is my Pre-op diet so long?

@@laurenella82 Lol that is a long time! No it wouldn't take that long to shrink your liver...I don't know why your surgeon has you doing it so long? I'm sure he/she has a good reason..maybe insurance requirements? Maybe they want to see how compliant you will be? Who knows Just kick that pre-ops butt and store the extra food savings for new clothes!

Why is my Pre-op diet so long?

@@laurenella82 That is a long time BUT are you on a liquid pre-op diet as in just protein shakes, Broth, sugar free Popsicles and jello? Or are you on a food diet thats just low cal/carbs?
  12. @@athena3127 Ask your surgeon to give you a prescription for nausea medication.
  13. @@Quest4TheNewMe I do 2 normally but I drink at least 2 shakes a day to supplement my lack of food and nutrition.
  14. @@WL WARRIOR Yikes! I haven't received mine yet but it's all covered by insurance so it will be interesting to see how much the "new luxury car" costs that is now my new stomach! I did however get a bill from the Anesthesiologist department (also covered) and it was 1445.00.
  15. @@jblgirl Ask your surgeon if you can incorporate another shake in during the day. If your shakes are low carb/cal maybe he/she will allow it? Are you allowed the sugar free jello and Popsicles? That's all the advice I have. I wasn't allowed a meal at night or ever in the two weeks so your a lucky duck to me!

That doesn't even make any sense a diastolic pressure of 83 isn't even "bad". She is obviously a moron, stay away from morons they will make your pressure high @@laurenella82
  17. @@haleytrim I just got the 0.N.E coconut water brand from Walmart. It doesn't have anything added just coconut water. Be careful if you go with other brands to look at the nut info because some add a lot of sugar ect...

    @@meps413 Your getting stronger????
  23. @@Thenewnic Truthfully I didn't. I was not taking enough nutrients in to feel like I should be out even walking at that point. I was only focused on healing and figuring out my new tummy. I know some people do and are ok with it. I still felt "Weak" plus my family was gone at work, school ect so I didn't feel safe leaving the house alone. A couple weeks of rest and recuperation are totally acceptable. You just had surgery. I know after my c-sections nobody expected me to run a marathon. You have plenty of time for that. If you feel well enough physically and mentally to walk then go for it! I didn't have any of the gas pains or anything to NEED to do walking like that.????
