  1. Nov 2nd will be 1 year for me. I've lost 120 lbs and my surgeon's goal for me was only to lose 60 to 70 lbs. I'm now trying to maintain my weight. Love my sleeve.
  2. Hi MoeMee, Welcome to the group. I was sleeve in Nov 2014 and I'm doing well. I'm down 100 lbs...almost to goal. Who is doing your surgery?
  3. Premier Protein now comes in Powder form. SAMS Club has the powder in vanilla and chocolate.
  4. I weigh myself and take measurements once a week. I also keep a food journal. I'm 2.5 months post op.
  5. I ride a stationary bike for 30 mins every day, plus walk over 10,000 steps a day. I use free weight every other day.
  6. Congrats on your weight loss. Have you thought about going to a second hand store to buy a few clothes to have while you are losing. I think I am going to head to Goodwill on Saturday to see what I can find.
  7. I'm 9.5 weeks out and my surgeon told me 800-1000 day. She also said after 800 calories if I'm still hungry drink a Protein shake.

  9. I started walking first. when 2 weeks after surgery I started riding my bike for 30 mins everyday and weights on my arms every other day. I still walk everyday too. Hope this helps.
  10. I sleep in a recliner for the first 5 days after I came home from the hospital. Once I started sleeping in the bed again, I sleep on my side with a body pillow.
  11. Phone charger, robe, and something to read or do. Of all the things I took those were the things I used the most. And don't for get to walk and walk as soon as you can.
  12. I had to do 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after surgery. Then 2 weeks pureed foods.

  15. Okiebon, yes my Sam's carries all three. Our costco only carries Vanilla and Chocolate.
  16. Premier Protein shakes (vanilla, Strawberries and Cream), nectar protein powder (Fuzzy Navel and Cholocate Truffle) and Jay Robb protein powders (Unflavored) I just order the unjury starter kit. Good Luck
  17. I like premier Protein shakes 160 cal. 3g fat ,30 g protein. These are premade shakes. You can purchase them at Sams, Costco's, and WalMart.

  19. What can you take if you get a cold after you have surgery. I had surgery on Monday and now I'm sick with a bad cold. Help!

  24. Pre-made shakes...I like premier Protein shakes, I also eat sugar free pudding and Jello and Swanson's broth. I'm having the sleeve done and my Dr. want 2 weeks of a clear liquid diet. So no real food.
