Why not call your surgeon before going to the ER?

That seems high to me. I'm 9 months out and stay between 900-1100 a day. Usually don't reach 1100. I'm 10 lbs from goal. I don't plan to up my calories any until I get below goal.

I will be 9 months out next week and am still extremely strict on my program. I've lost 115 lbs and I am 12 lbs to goal. I feel amazing. I do not cheat. Not even a bite. Have never had cake or sweets or bread, rice, Pasta, etc.... For me, it is just better to avoid it entirely. I'm still losing about 8 lbs a month give or take. I have points where I stall a bit but then it starts moving again. I will probably adjust my original goal a bit. Depends on how I feel when I get there. Good luck!

176....slow but going down

Today is my birthday and it will be my first birthday without cake ever! And I'm ok with that! I'm 8.5 months out and I've been through all the holidays without even having a bite of something bad. Today is no different. In the past, I would have had to have a cake and I would haven't eaten several pieces a day until it was gone. No more of that. Going to enjoy my day knowing that I am 110 lbs lighter. No piece of cake is worth that!!!!

Something new to wear and show off the new you would be so much better than cake. The cake would just end up in the toilet (HAHA)

So I have to say it...
Going all day without a "piece of cake" is really, JUST a piece of cake, right? I made a comment yesterday on here about icing on the cake or something like that, funny...we just can't get away from the foods that are bad

How long before you could return to work? I'm a nurse so this is a big factor for me. I'm not ready at all to do this as I'm only 8 months out and 18 lbs from goal. I will have more questions in the future. I'm really hoping my insurance will cover this. Your results are amazing and I'm glad you are returning to normal!
