My surgery date is Nov. 18th, pre-testing is Oct. 23rd and pre-surgery appt with my Doctor is Nov.12th getting very excited to start my new life that I've started bagging up all of my big clothes from this pass summer to take and donate because I'm not gonna be needing them no more! Yesterday was my day of pre-testing, had a chest X-ray, EKG, upper GI and 12 tubes of blood plus meeting with the Hospitalist, Nutitionist, Physical Theraphy, it was a long day from 6:30-1:30 but very helpful, I start my pre-surgery diet on nov.
4th and surgery is Nov. 18th, my diet consist of 3 Protein Drinks, 2 lean cusine meals and 64 oz of liquid a day for 14 days!

November 10th...got my approval yesterday! Only took 3 business days I was so nervous of being denied...so just waiting now

I am scheduled to have my surgery the week before Thanksgiving, on November 19th. I start my 2 week Preop diet on November 3rd. I am nervous and excited at the same time.

I'm so excited about my surgery it can't get here soon enough even though it is on my husbands birthday but that's ok he's fine with it and tells me he's so proud of me for taking that step to better my life even though I've ran into a road block, i had my mammogram last Monday and got called back in for retesting and a ultrasound, so now I'm having to have a biopsy on my right Brest Oct. 16th but the Doctor told me not to get to stressed over it that hopefully it's just a cyst, I have to think positive and pray that it's nothing, I'm new to the site so any more Sleevers input would be greatly appreciated!
