Ok here it is. It fits loosely. Good thing I remembered it was in the closet! I haven't worn this in fifteen years. Love me some shoulder pads. Lol.

Is it possible to find Plastic Surgeons of Excellence around the US and Mexico, who are willing to offer group-rate pricing (Perhaps deep discounts?) for Bariatric Pal's members, just like you've done with WL Surgeons?
IMHO, the Plastic Surgery component is just as important as WLS for becoming (psychologically) healthy to prevent body dysmorphia and obesity "relapse".

I so agree gr8. There was a period of wondering how I would cope without my favorite stress relievers. How my life was going to be different The unknown.
However a HUGE difference is removing the insatiable hunger. food is just not so important I learned. I don't obsess about meals....It is just what I need.
Big mind shift that I wish for all. So glad I changed my life. For years and years now. It can be done with some help. Best of luck

I hope this helps. My bmi was at 43. I am 54. I am also bipolar type 2. I have problems with my feet, lower back pain, arthritis, high cholesterol, yoyo dieting, hypothyroid, etc. The fact that I was on lithium long term has caused stage 3 kidney disease. Since the gastric bypass my diabetes has resolved, back and foot pain gone, kidneys stabilized. Arthritis also not bad anymore.. Feet compleatly better. Cholesterol normal. Some bipolar meds lessened. Trust me, the less meds you take the better for your organs. These things could be in your future if you don't get some help soon. As you age, everything goes to h---. I wish I had done this long ago. I had my surgery a year ago this month. Now I can go on walks, go up stairs without running out of breath, even my bipolar is better because I have a better frame of mind. Maybe you can go to a group meeting about the surgeries. That is what I did, the hospital near me had a comprehensive weight loss program. They will check your health from all sides. Please get some help before your health declines. I wish I had. I would have been having better health so much sooner. At least check with your doctors, it's worth it. Please don't wait much longer.

While your on your pre-surg liquids, Allow yourself time to mourn the old, obese you, if that's what you need to do. The fact is: as a result of WLS, the old you will 'die' (in a sense). Go ahead and allow yourself a few tears. You are indeed, headed into unknown territory & that's scary!
Don't stuff it or it will show up in another, probably bad, way. Take it easy on yourself & maybe give yourself a nice little (non-food) reward (like a mani-pedi, or a massage) after the first, and then the second, week of fluid-only prep.
Then, rejoice in anticipation of the butterfly you'll become!
    You've got this!

@@loser2014 I know the average with lapband is about 2lbs a week, that is about what it is with any type of diet so I have had to really wrap my head around that. I also do better with exercise, and am really working on not wolfing my my food down, but you know what I think is going to be one of the hardest things for me is remembering not to drink anything with my meals, it seems so unnatural not to have a drink with your food. Glad your weight is moving down again, I know that had to be discouraging.

I was banded 10/8/14. I lost between 10 and 15 pounds in the first few weeks from the presurgery diet and the initial post-surgery liquid diet. Then nothing, For weeks and weeks. I got my first fill at five weeks, experienced a huge reduction in what I could eat, and still, no movement. I went over a month without losing any scale weight. My clothes were getting looser, but not drastically. Not a single person noticed or commented that I had lost weight.
Finally, this week, 8 weeks out from surgery, the scale is slowly and steadily creeping down. I'm down 20 pounds as of today.
Here are some things I have learned:
    1. Losing weight with a lap band can be a very slow process. Patience is key. I am very bad at being patient.
    2. I am a very slow learner. I get stuck almost every day from eating too quickly. Undoing a 40 year habit of wolfing down food is not easy.
    3. When I exercise, I am more likely to lose weight. Plain and simple.
    4. Preparation is key. It is not easy to grab food when you are out with the band. Keeping Protein Bars on hand and not going too long between meals is important.
Almost 2 months later, I finally am starting to feel good about my choice to get a lap band and feeling like I can make a success of this.

@@Alex Brecher I think something that would be very beneficial to this community would be to set up online webinars here on BP. You could set something up for maybe once a month with a doctor, psychologist, nutritionist, etc. that could answer questions that members may have.
    Just my 2 cents

You Can Make 2015 Even Better for BariatricPal!
I’m planning for 2015 to be just as successful as 2014 was for BariatricPal, and I have a lot of improvements in store. To make 2015 the best year possible, though, I need your help! Do you have suggestions for the coming year? Which new features would you like to see? Which services do you think BariatricPal should offer to help strengthen our community and help members reach their health and weight loss goals?
I would love to have your input! Please feel free to post your ideas and suggestions right here. Or, if you prefer, send me a private message (PM). You, the members, are the ones who make BariatricPal possible. You drive this community. Please let me know how it can be improved!

SO....LINGERIE!!!! Something really sexy and the something really slutty (for when I DO have a man of course????)

I have done a lot of research. People want immediate results with little effort. With good eating and exercising habits and many food choice changes I have lost 40 lbs with the band at 4 cc full. I did not expect the band to do all the work.
