I had the peach mango today, was ok but had a weird aftertaste. I tried icy orange last week, couldn't stand the taste, poured it out. I'll stick with shakes.< /p>

My doctor does 2 month post-op lab work. I just got the results last week and everything is normal, even my B12, my cholesterol is a little low but it is close to normal.

I had my surgery in Danville on Nov. 17th, but with Dr. Gabrielsen. Everything was great at the hospital, I didn't need a thing. My room was on the 6th floor, which was directly across from the helicopter landing pad, which it did come and go several times throughout my overnight stay. The nurses were great and friendly and the one had bariatric surgery last year so she was extremely helpful and understanding. The only problem I had was checking out, the doctor came and told me I would be ready to go by noon, then at 2pm I was still sitting in bed and when the nurses changed shifts my discharge paperwork got misplaced so I had to ask about being discharged, but other than that I would definitely recommend Geisinger Danville to anyone.

I have BCBS of PA and it only took two days.

Sleeved 11/17 and have lost 39 pounds post op so far.

I'm 6 weeks post-op and have had no major problems. I have noticed some minor issues, I get dry flaky skin when I don't get my 60 oz of fluids, but nothing serious. No vomiting, no pain, surgeon just cleared me for full exercise.

I travel a lot for work and the only 2 months I don't are Nov & Dec, so my surgeon let me pick my date.

I had my 7 day post-op visit on Tuesday and my NUT told me I could start having decaffeinated coffee and tea already.

You got scammed. There's no way in the word that a VSG would cost that much and especially since you only spent one day in the hospital. In my state it's about $16,000, self pay. The average seems to be $25-$30,000.
Proud2BMe, that is what my doctor and hospital charged me, I went to Geisinger Hospital, $13,000 doctor fees and $80,000 hospital fees. I really don't care what they charged since my employer covers bariatric surgery and I only owed $200 for the entire bill.

Wow that's cheap, I was sleeved on Monday and already got a bill, $93,345. Only 1 night in hospital and no complications, glad I have good insurance.

I was sleeved yesterday at 7am and was discharged today at 1pm. I had no complications and little pain.

I have the chocolate truffle flavor, it tastes like chocolate milk, but doesn't blend well (in milk). I use a bullet blender and it still leaves small unmixed pellets.

I was sleeved yesterday at 7am, and discharged today at 1pm. I'm surprised by the lack of pain, only needed to take Tylenol, but I feel bloated so need to try gas x strips.

I was sleeved yesterday and I currently only have a little pain, mostly when lying flat in bed, only taking Tylenol. I had more pain when I got my gallbladder removed.

I started pre-op diet on Nov 3rd, surgery is on the 17th so three more days. Only allowed Clear Liquids and Protein Shakes, lost 12 pounds last two weeks.

I have BCBS and already met my deductible and all but $190 of my out of pocket, and hospital asked if I can pay before my surgery next week.

I had my pre-op appointment today, with surgery on Nov 17th. During which someone from the financial department came and gave me an estimated bill for my surgery, $93,568. I'm lucky my insurance is covering all but $218.

My doctor allows nuts post-op, but doesn't recommend them due to it is very easy to eat more than 1 portion of them.
