boy you ladies are such inspirations. i have had two fill and have absoulty no restrictions. i can eat anything. i have gained three pounds since my last fill two weeks ago. i go for my next fill in three weeks. i would have gained more if i didnot go to the gym. has this happened to anybody else? some advice. i have the new ap band. i now have 6cc in.

the unsinkable mollybrown, you said exactly how i feel. i have always put my family first and i always will. but for the first time i am taking care of me and it feels great. i wish i would have done this five years ago. i turned 40 this year and decided to change my life starting with the band. still trying to find the right restriction but i am headed in the right direction. the only advise i can give is keep the faith and pray. God hears and answers all prayers. just have faith.

caligirl i feel the same way. i'm hoping my next fill will give me the restrictions i don't have now. i can eat way too much food. littlelove i envy you. i can't wait take two bites and be full. i guess it will happen soon.

i so needed to here that i am not alone in this. i had my surgery on oct.23rd. with my pre-op weight i lost a total of 14 pds. gained 2 before first fill on nov.8th. and now i have lost NOTHING!!!!! i am trying not to get depressed but i feel this is just another failed attempt at losing weight. after all this i still feel i am aloser. i startes walking 2 miles so maybe that will help. i sure hope so. my next fill won't be until dec. i hope i fill some restriction after it. as of right ow i fill like nothing is different.

I Feel No Restriction. My Secind Fill Will Be In A Month. I Have A 14cc Band With A 4cc Fill. I Can Eatanything But I Have Not. I Am Soo Happy I Did Not Tell Anyone I Had This Done. At Least I Won't Have To Answer Any Stupid Questions. I Am So Sad.

I WANT RESTRICTIONS!!!!!!!

i had my first fill today. i received 4cc in my 14cc band. went great. i am on liquids 3 days. the thing is iam soooo hungry i don't fill any different. is it going to take a few days to fill any different? i want to fill restriction. i won't get another fill for another month. i am feeling depresed.

hey lizzie, thanks for the great idea. i will look uo the menu when i go out. by the way it was not as bad as i thought. we went to applebee's. i had garlic mash potatoes. and the bill was only $20.00. that was cool.

i know how you feel. i can eat anything. my first fill is on wednesday.(thank GOD). i am so afraid i am going to fail at this just like every other diet. i think i am sabotaging myself.

lizzie, have you had a fill yet? i too am a little fearful of trying REAL food. i am going out tonight with my husband and i don't know what to eat. crazy!!! crazy!!!

well thanks for that. i found a support group for lap bands. i will be going tomorrow. i'm excited. i have so many questions that i am sure will be answered by fellow banders.

freebigbennow, i don't no. i went for my post op on wed (11/7) expecting to get a fill. my doctor told me he wanted to wait at least 2 more weeks. i said i rather he not because it would be around thanksgiving and i don't fill any restrictions now. i got my stitches out at my post op and will be going back to work on monday. i don't have any pain and started walking. by the way i am glad i am getting a fill. i just weighed myself and i gained 2 pounds. i know they say it's normal but it made me sick, sad and frustrated.

hello lap band family, i was banded on october 23rd, 2007. i have not had my first fill yet and i am hungry. i must admit i did have some candy two days ago. bad i know . i sometimes feel i could go crazy with the thought of eating. i drink 75grams of protien a day. drink a whole lot of Water. i now can eat mushy foods and Cereal. i won't get my first fill until wednesday, 11/14. any suggestions what to do in the meantime. does anybody else have these problems?:help:
