  2. Can't wait to hear your review...if the cookbook.
  3. I feel really good and I'll be ready to go back to work next week. I think I would be saying the same even if I worked retail. Good luck!
  4. I just had surgery 10 days ago. I'm down 13 lbs. But that does not justify getting rid of my summer clothes.
  5. Like you I worry that it won't work. I'm keeping mine until spring then will get rid of it.
  6. For those who make their own protein shakes, how many ounces are the shakes upon completion? I just made my own and it made so much it might take me the rest of the weekend to finish it. I'm a novice, any help is appreciated.

  9. Tonight's blood sugar was 76. I am going to check it again in an hour and see where it's at, if it's dropped I guess I'm calling the exchange. I have no idea how to give it a little boost since I've had surgery.
  10. Beni, my husband and I have been using Premier Protein for about two years and never had that happen. Hope it was a freak thing and your not getting sick.

  14. I had my follow up today and everything was great. I have graduated to stage 2 foods.
  15. imho: I think a hotel is a fabulous idea. You are going to have enough stress on you the day of surgery and omitting the drive might really help.
  16. @@karen Allen, wtg! So happy for you!
  17. The road your traveling is filled with so many emotions that it's hard to keep them straight. I totally understand your weight being a security blanket and shedding it is daunting. Take it one day at a time (one minute at a time if you have to), you will have time to adjust to the new you. Soon enough you won't need your security blanket.
  18. It's perfectly normal to want a last supper. Do so before you start your liquid diet.
  19. I paid the day off surgery and got a 25% discount. I could have set up payment arrangements and forgone the discount.
  20. @@Bronxmerci, you look great and your little one is so cute.
  21. Congratulations! Great job!
  22. I totally agree with Beni you look great. I still look like walking death.
  23. Would love to hear some of what you learned.
  24. Tonight was my first night without meds. No pain but no sleep either. Hoping this is not the beginning of an insomnia bout.
