I had my first day back today as well. Like you I was tired. Hope tomorrow is a little easier.

How old is your daughter? My son is 13 and he was a huge help to me.

So my husband has been gone for two weeks, he has not been home for any of my recovery. Today he's home and ran to the store for me. He brought me home a surprise, cookies! What party of the last six months has he missed? Ugh.

Add some prayers while you swim and you'll do great.

Today is day 16 post op. I am feeling like myself, walking, eating mushy stuff and all that. I have a Dr appt with my primary. Back to the grind Monday, I'm actually looking forward to it.

I.asked about pudding and fudgesicles and my doctors office said not while on the liquid diet. Every Dr. Seems different, might be worth the call.

I coughed for a week after surgery. Hurry so bad. I feel for you.

I slept with a pillow on my side that helped with the abdominal pain.

Three weeks of mushy foods may be the end of me. I keep forgetting to add my protein powder and I'm just plain tired of the mush. Feeling crabby and sorry for myself today.

My bowel habits are still not normal. Metamucil is my new best friend.
