    I've lost 45 pounds but.......

Same here I am down 40 and cant tell the only way is my close fit better and are loose. Im thinking another 20 lbs I will notice. Your not alone Im just affraid that at goal I still will see myself fat in the mirror.. I have to pay close attention to that because I dont want to have body morphing issues on top of it all.

Do you notice how much others eat?

This is so funny you started this I was thinking the same thing. I was at a thanksgiving dinner and everyone had their plates mounded with food while I have a little bowl of Soup. I was still sipping my soup and they were all done and feeling horrible because they ate too much. That is what im happy about I dont ever want that again.. In general when I go out Im still shocked how much they eat because again im sipping soup..
  3. I have BlueCross BlueShield and was notified I was approved via a letter and a call from my WLS coordinator. Good Luck
  4. Im glad your home thats the best place to be instead of in and out of the ER so many infections you can get. Hopefully with home care and maybe you can get a Dr to home visit and monitor you everything will work out. I keep thinking about you and thank you for sharing all this its important to tell stories like this...

    Post op diet... Low carb

I have not had carbs because I eat so little I want just Protein... Also I did try to eat a cracker with my Soup and it just got stuck in my throat I felt like. I also think carbs are necessary for a diet but I have them through liquids like milk or Protein shakes.. Welcome to the journey of the Sleeve

I just started going out I was sleeved on Oct 14th. It was very hard because you cant drink and eat at the same time. I have been out 5 times and each time I get a broth soup and Water. So far no one has noticed the fact its so little thank goodness.. Good Luck
  15. I cant believe all this as soon as I thought you were on the mends then something else you post is wrong. I cant believe how many times you have been in the ER over this Im shocked no one has taken responsibility or action to fix the issues at hand. Thank goodness for insurance imagine if you self paid. Feel better and hopefully this will get all worked out so you and your wife can enjoy this holiday season

    Enjoying a bath

I do I love baths and at my heaviest I could not take one because I could not get out. I took one for the first time in months and it felt so good to just chill and not worry how am I getting out.
  17. No leak test I was not allowed any liquids till the next day. I had no drains either they did take blood tests every 6 hours and breathing treatments every 6 hours and a wonderful Pain pump for the whole day. I was at 7 am done by 10 then just layed there and kept pushing the button. The second day they take the pump away and gave me Norco for the pain that I took for few weeks. I could of stopped sooner but it was nice to not have any pain at all with them.

    Have you faced divorce?

Thank you @@lisacaron for that it was very inspirational. I went through a divorce in early 2013 because he was cheating on me as well. I lost 20 pounds and was almost at goal then between 2013 and 2014 I gained 60 plus pounds from emotionally eating and feeling really alone. I agree with you that a man will love you no matter what, but its hard to believe when you dont even love yourself, and thats where I realized I needed WLS help and meds.. Im feeling so much better about myself and believe I deserve a good man this time around.

    The pre op struggle

Honestly, I think that is the hard part because you dont have a smaller stomach where a Protein shake fills you up. I was on it for 7 days and it was a struggle I had to get creative on my broths and shakes... But at the end all worth it just remember that

    Alcohol
