If you are a food addict like me - yes you will feel anger , out of control emotions, helpless, suffocated and panicky I'm 4 weeks out and I've processed all of these feelings. I'm learning to stay busy. I can't sit around and let the addiction take over. I hope with more weight loss to start jogging. I just need to keep propelling forward. Yes surgery was the right choice for me. 100% sure. -
So I'm 3 weeks post op. I've lost 25lbs. And no one has noticed the weight loss!! Wow. I must be super obese that 25lbs is not noticeable. Go figure!

Oy Vay! It's a crazy world we live in. I have a sister who doesn't talk to me about the surgery instead she God's to our younger sister and complains that it's not fair that I will eventually lose weight and be thin. Imagine how I feel knowing my sister took comfort in knowing I was always larger than her. It hurts???? -

During first two weeks I thought the pouch didn't work because I could easily take in liquids. Week 3 now it's like a nerve woke up and indicates pain when I consume too much. The pain is awful. -

Had my surgery September 24th
jackie's journey replied to time4changes's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Wow, I'm impressed you are having shakes the first week! My surgeon only allows clear liquid for 7 days. Which for me is isopure and water. Actually got sick off the isopure and had to stop. Now I'm just having water and fat free chicken broth. Start 2nd week tomorrow and can't wait to have a shake! 2nd week is full liquids.
