  1. Ironically while my hair is fine, my fingernails are horrible. They only grow out a little bit then chip & split. I hate fake nails & overlays but I may do that to see if I can grow them out past the splitting point.

Omg yes!!!!! I always had long awesome nails strong, now they peel and chip and break. I like my nails kinda long but now I can't even do that. Yesterday I cut them all. So I'm gonna be bald with short nails ???????????????? I still would do the surgery again if I had to tho.

  2. I've been very open about it because nobody slims down so fast without surgery specially being very overweight. To each his own but I'm happy and proud of saying it because I took a conscious decision and improved my life. Like I call my scars my battle wounds because at the end of the day it was a healthy decision and not vanity. I feel amazing and I'm happy to share my journey. It depends how close you are with your family but I've been very open with mine and they've all been very happy for me. I understand strangers but family is there to support you. And hiding that may cause unnecessary drama. That's my opinion.

  3. The sleeve is my new baby. Oh my god. Today I finally accepted the fact that I can't eat any type of bread. Every time I ate any type I would always get stuck and it would give me the worst pains! Whole wheat bread, pita bread you name it. I can't. So yeah. Please listen to your doctor and even tho you get tired try to stick to it. I was sleeves August 4th. Good luck

  4. That happened to me too. I was exhausted. So worried for when I had to start taking the subway when I came back home (surgery in Dominican Republic). I came a month after and the stairs still where horrible. I had surgery August 4th and today I did 50 minutes of exercise on a bike and treadmill. Stairs are a little hard still but I promise it gets better.

  5. I'm 6 weeks out and I'm surprised you can't have vegetables. My nutritionist gave me a list of vegetables I have to eat as long as they're cooked. Spinach, zucchini, carrots, Brussels sprouts, onion, eggplants. Those are a few. Ask your doctor. I'm supposed to have half a cup of vegetables twice a day. Reading here I'm realizing my diet is very different than everyone else's. I had the surgery in Dominican Republic. I spent one month on liquids and now I'm on soft foods. Lost 40 pounds since August 4th.
