Im getting re-banded on the 1st August

I got banded in oct 05 and have maintained my weight for the last yr or so, well i have gained a cpl of kilos here and there but have lost it again. Im going back in to have another band as this one has slipped and formed another pouch (woteva that means) i dont really understand this pouch thing. I feel thats its harder to get the rest of the weight off as i only have 10kg to get to my goal weight.

hi....i have been banded 2 and a half years....mine was more the vomiting at night....pains in the back....and really strange gurgling noises....that made me think something was wrong. Im sorry to hear about yours as well. I dont know what to do.....if i should get another one put in or not...confused

just found out today that my band has`slipped

yes i get it all the time....im off to see my doc tomorrow as i have had enough now.....have u recently had a fill?

that has got to be the funniest thing i have heard in ages....you dont exclude anyone....i know a few of us on here have all of a sudden been ignored and we post and then we never get a reply....all i ever hear is ....oh we are one happy family and we all support one another...what a load of crap..please....dont fool people like you have fooled others This has been on my chest for ages and not just mine but others as well...you all just form your little groups and pm others of who u want to invite to meets etc....thats not called support..... Im speaking for others as well as long as i get the support form these other girls there is no need for us to be posting or even reading the crap that goes on in these threads...oh and even to start a new talk thread because mine just had melbourne and not australia....and people didnt feel welcome from other states...thats why alot were form other states like canberra and qld...so i really dont get the point. I could go on and on about this but im not going to ive said my bit and that is it....i have a life and not a life just sitting behind a computer screen typing absolute shit!!!!!!

I am in the same situation atm......my weight has not changed since my last fill which was a few weeks ago now.... I work at a fitness centre so im going to get in the gym more...well atleast after the school hols......if you are exercising 5 times a week you should start to lose weight again:)....if your not then get a diff program form the gym...gooodluck

Ok i have booked my accom and staying in broadbeach...hopefully not to far from the theme parks. I will be up there this weekend.....whats the weather like there atm?

I had a tummy tuck done about 4 yrs ago now and it was all covered by medicare but was put under as a lipocectomy like Chickie stated. If my doc wouldv put down a tummy tuck i prob would have been up for lots of $$$$$.....but this doc did it this way for me as i have known him for 14years and this was my reward for losing so much weight at that time back then...but then i put it all back on again..hence thats why i ended up getting the band..lol. I really think it all depends on the surgeon:)

Hey Susannah, yeah tell me about it, those agencies are always looking for ppl....i know a girl that gets called everyday and shes only meant to be doing 3 days a week...lol Just take it easy and try not to lift to many little bubbies like i did:) Oh i just realised there was another page.....im a numnut:p

LOL.... i actually said to my hubby a cpl of days ago...i hope i fit in all the rides....cause i know some are very small, i sure do hope that i fit in them I go in a few weeks...u might be able to see the big brother house in July

Hi yes i will have a car will be hiring one.....am just looking at something half decent prob around 100 - 150 per night ....wanna be out of the hustle and bustle of it all. How far is Noosa? Im arriving at brisbane. Just need a 1 bdrm appartment im not taking the kids...going with my sis in law.

Hi Susannah.....i totally agree with what you said about Cam....she has always been very informative to help others:) Maybe ask your dodc if the heart rate while you were walking is normal? Maybe take it a little slower and do an extra 5 mins day by day and see if that helps you. Just build it up gradually, Thats what i do.
