  1. im 4 months post op on feb 6.not sure of ponds,i only weigh 1x a month at dr but I have gone from a skin tight 14 to a size 6-8!!!woohoo!!just got my loft credit card and im shopping!!!
  2. turkey chili in the slow cooker then throw it in blender to puree!!yummy
  3. why would you want to go back to the way you were eating before surgery??isn't that the reason you got it to begin with???I would never want to go back and I never will,just sayin
  4. I also have an easy egg muffin recipe!! I use a 6 muffin cup pan 6 egs scampled 1/2/cup skim milk 1/2 cup shredded cheese{I use Mexican blend} 6 slices candadian bacon or just reg bacon strips or crumbled 350 oven fill muffin cups 1/4 way with eggs,add 1 slice Canadian bacon to each one and pour remaining mixture into each. 20-25 mins bake and you have a perfect mcmuffin without the bread!!!

  6. Yes it reheat awesome!pop it in the microwave and it doesn't get mushy crust either!!!
  7. This is better and tastier then the cauliflower!!it tastes just like pizza crust!!
  8. best pizza crust out there!!im addicted to this!! 1lb ground chicken 1 tbsp. oregona and basil mixed 1 garlic clove salt,pepper 1/2 cup lowfat mozzerla 1/2 cup parmesian cheese mix all ingrediants together make a round flat crust on parchment paper bake on 400 for 20 mins now for the toppings,i make 2 different flavors Italian 1 sm jar pizza sause lowfat mozzerla chopped onions corn place all toppings on pizza crust bake 10 mins or until cheese is melted OMG! bbq topping half bottle bbq sauce chopped onions garlic mix these together,spread on pizza crust top with lowfat Mexican cheese 10 mins or until cheese melts OMG!! this tastes just like pizza and is all low carb!!my famiy loves it!!!

I was a pretty heavy wino before surgery!i think what worries dr is trading one habit for another and also a lot of people eat junk when they are drinking.thats something I didn't do.when I drank I drank only!!of course always ended up wasted after a couple bottles of wine!anyway I was on vaction with friends at 4 weeks post op and had no problem having a coupe glasses of white wine.ive been having some wine and even had moonshine last week!!I don't get any more drunk now then I did 45lbs ago!!if anything I just don't drink as much as I use to.hubby happy too!!

I heard that dr doesn't want you to drink because they don't want you to trade one bad habit for another.also alchol tends to make you graze.thats what happened to my friend a year after her bypass she started drinking a lot after she lost over 100 lbs and also added junk food while she was drinking.needless to say shes a sloppy drunk and gained back more then half her loss and is now going for the lapband.
  12. ive always been a coffee person and I started at 2 weeks post op because its the only thing that "moves"me lol!!I use creamer or powder.just cant live without it!ive never been a soda person and I don't use straws.havent tried smoothies yet.just not into the sugar.im 14 weeks out!!yeeha!!
  13. im so there with you!in the past when ive weighed 175 I was always a 12!now im at 180 and my tens are feeling loose already!!weirdest part is im 10 yrs older!!I will take it!

  16. had my surgery oct 6 so im almost 3 months out and I feel great!!atarting the new year off focusing on a new body!!5*5,size 10 {getting a little loose already!}just hit 180 yesterday!!woohoo!!40 lbs to go to dr goal and 50 for my goal!!!

I had my surgery by dr sean garber,hes in rosylyn heights and he runs the bariatric floor in t Sinai hospital.my surgery was oct 6th.he is the best surgeon I the country!i had the the sngle incision thru my belly button and he removed my probmatic gall bladder.mt Sinai hospital is the best also!!
  18. luv my ninja best investment!purees food perfectly and it comes with cups that I make my shakes in and is also use the cups to pure small amounts of food.
  19. they do have to cut thru muscle to get to your stomach so the pain will be there fo a coupe weeks.everyday it feels better.
  20. I started back to coffee 2 weeks post uo.im 7 weeks out and have 2 or 3 a day with half n half.only way to go to bathroom!
  21. im also on that and its not that great.y dr has me taking Pepcid once a day also.feeling much better now.
  22. mine was removed with vsg.I had gall stones and soreness.i never had an attack but it always bothered me.my dr said if its right there when he goes in he would remove it.
  23. I went back to coffee after 3 weeks post op.i couldn't deal with the constipation any longer!!back to normal now and I only need 1 cup o joe when I wake up!!!I do drink 2 or ps thruout the day now and im 6 weeks post op.i also put a tablespoon of genepro in my first cup every morning.
  24. made my goal today!!!thanksgiving still a week away!!hoping for 185 by then!! will keep you posted!!
