Thank you @@lptreg and @@Beckyyb93 it doesn't help that they found a hernia while they were in there and did a stitch repair. -
My RNY surgery Oct. 13,2014

oh well I would hate that and the other thing is I'm so used to getting on the floor with my kids I laid down on the floor and then I had such a hard time trying to get back up it was pretty bad. It's like me a good five to seven minutes to get off the floor. My right side is definitely easier to sleep on my left side because my Loveside is where the largest incision was which is about a centimeter -
because of the issues I've been having with trying to get the protein in and trying to get the food and then I was back to my presurgery wait like four days ago when I was three days out. Because I found a scale while I was in the hospital, when I weighed myself before my surgery I was 278 the day after my surgery I was back to 289 now away today I'm at 275.
-
you can't get your protein in every day, I can't get my water in every day. The doctor told me that the full liquids that I drink count toward my 60 ounces a day though so that helps. It takes me an hour to drink a cup of milk. Water makes my pouch cramp up. I'm steadily trying to sip it but it never seems to be enough. My mouth is dry. I feel dry. This is what I was scared up before the surgery. I used to drink 2 to 3 L of water a day.

I woke up this morning on my stomach. I have no ideas how I got there. It felt as if my stitches were stretching. And the pain meds had worn off. I may weigh myself today since I'm 1 week out. Please tell me it'll get better. -

Must stay off of the floor. Having trouble getting up off of the floor. This is new. Felt like my stitches were pulling.
-
glad to hear you're doing well. I'm still have issues getting my liquids down.
-
lol I know right.
-
falling down is easy, getting up again is real strength. Sit back, learn from it, process it, and keep going. You'll do fine.
-
so excited for you @@amylynns you'll do fine.

no that was totally me up until yesterday. The gas sounds are soooo loud. It's like my colon is talking to me. Only problem was I hadn't passed gas until I took some fiber and milk of magnesia then it was like explosive diarrhea at anytime.

it was written by a guy who has had weight loss surgery and a bariatric dietician. And he has the full puréed diet to the soft foods diet and regular diet and things to cook for your family. I've started to to go through it today.

I bought some scar away silicone patches after they close up a bit more.

What I've been waiting in the mail for. lol hello Hugh Jackman's backside. Oh yea and the recipes too.
-
doesnt look bad at all. I know I'm so vain one of my major concerns was having a huge scar. So the first question I was aware of asking was, "Did they have to open?" because I was going to include in my consents that if they had to open, we might as well cancel the surgery.

i always got around that by wearing yoga pants. I would buckle the belt under my tummy and let the rest flop over it. Lol. How about me not having to do that again. -
zinc is good for wound healing at 30 mg a day. But The liquid vitamin supplement that I was taking the first week didn't have any was pretty disgusting and whatever I mixed into it maybe that taste disgusting. So I went and found my kids chewable vitamins.

tthe largest incision was about 10mm on my left. Below it and more central was my ,for lack of a better word, drain hole(?) and four tiny incisions.
