I hope I'm not getting to personal, but what were some contributing factors that led to your depression?

Hey everyone!
Mona Party of six checking in!!!!
Well I am 27 days post-op as of today. I got on the scale this morning and my CW is 180lbs, so I am down 19lbs today. I plan to start walking pertty soon. I'm feeling pretty good due to the chewable vitamins and my diet which consist of a daily intake of veggies such as Collards, blackeyed peas, cheese sticks, yogourt, eggs, Kindbars, and I protien shake either morning or night.

I told my employer and imediate supervisor that I was having my Gallbladder removed. When my surgeon's nurse completed my FMLA paperwork she only stated that I was having general surgery. She never reveled what type.

I'm down 17.5 lbs since October.

I was feeling good after about the 5th day....Returned to work after 2 weeks.
-
I purchased some liquid Multivitamins from "The Vitamin shoppe". I begin taking it at 3days post op.

I was sleeved on 10/22/14. My BMI was 36.7 on the day of my surgery. My insurance covered my procedure %100. I'm down 13.5 lbs. My height is 5'1 and my SW was 193.

well, I would think he would at least take a look at your incisions......????Had my one week post op yesterday and my dr. Didn't look at my incisions. Later, after already having left the office, I felt uncomfortable with the fact that he didn't physically examine me. I know he knows what he's doing but....
He did ask how I felt and I said great, getting stronger everyday. Does anyone think it's odd? What was your post op like?

what was your BMI in the beginning?I lost 10lbs the first week home from surgery. I had surgery on Oct. 6th. I haven't lost an ounce since. Is anyone else in the same boat? Am I doing something wrong? I realize I didn't pack on the pounds over night but I'm starting to get frustrated.

Hey Hockey Momma,I'm 43, was a size 16, 201 lbs. I'm short at 5'1.
I'm a different kind of sleeve patient because I wasn't very high on the bmi scale but I am borderline diabetic, have GERD terribly and insomnia due to weight.
How has your journey been?
