  1. I see the question marks skinny girl...I believe it is a great compliment. He's saying you are buying into the healthy lifestyle. Good stuff!
  2. Force yourself to exercise once your surgeon gives you the go ahead. It increases your metabolism and you will have new found energy...it's awesome!
  3. Sometimes those are fluctuations due to hydration. If you weigh at a low hydration point it can take several days weight loss to show. It will pass. You don't stall so soon after surgery.
  4. I was 441. Things are going good so far. Good luck!
  5. The question "when is the rest of you getting here?"
  6. Wow! I never kept records like that's! I do know I'm at 4 months and have lost 114. So that's on average 28 lbs a month. The first couple of months were definitely faster but I'm still 3-5 lbs a week.
  7. That's great...keep up the good work!
  8. My vehicle is getting noticeably better fuel mileage due to hauling less weight every day!
  9. I drank alcohol 4 weeks after surgery and still do every week or two. No problems. It's all liquor...no beer....no carbs.
  10. My guess is that it may slow it down due to the high carb content in the fruit. Just a guess. Check with your dietician to be sure.
  11. Get some fiber gummies and drink your water. This will help constipation.
  12. Nice! 100 lbs. lost was my first milestone. Passing the 300 lbs. mark is my next. I'm looking forward to it!
  13. Good question. I don't know, My thoughts (guess) are the more calories you burn the better, at least until you run out of fat reserves.
  14. Before my surgery I felt in my late 50's...looked it too. I feel like I'm getting younger approaching my late 30's...haha! Getting the comments how much younger I look helps too. I'm glad I did this surgery...good times!
  15. I haven't heard of that. I have noticed I get cold easier now. I used to keep my place at 68, now it's 73. I never thought that would happen.
  16. I've never been a big fan of candy. If there was one it would be Reese's. As long as they aren't around I'm fine...though I don't think I'd be tempted even if they were in front of me. Why take the chance?
  17. We are/were overweight. By definition we have excess skin . I believe it's different for everyone as to how it would look after major weight loss. There is always surgery if its bad. To WL's point...don't worry about it now. It is what it is. The benefits out weigh what excess skin will look like after weight loss. Good luck and best wishes!
  18. Bring no bad for you food into your home! Fortunately the hunger should be easily satisfied. Make sure the "hunger" is not actually thirst...drink plenty of water. Im working out so much now that I can tell my body want more calories. I just know as long as I can tell that then my body is burning fat. I'm losing a pound a day and I'm just over 3 months out and over 100 lbs lighter!
  19. I was pretty excited once I made the decision. There was nothing special I did to prep mentally for it. I believe there's enou info in these forums to help you know what to expect. No regrets!
  20. Posted my 100 lbs lost milestone on Facebook and more than doubled the amount of Likes I've ever got. Also got some instant messages asking for advice on how to lose the weight.
  21. Good: you look 10 years younger. Not good: you look like you've lost weight, but not that much! (After I told him how much I lost after asked). Of course we are old friends in which honesty is not an issue. Still sucked.
