  1. I've used Pure Protein from Walmart, really yummy! And $17 for a whole tub!
  2. Hang in there, you can do it! Not easy but it does get easier! Think of the end prize! The sleeve is one of the best decisions I have ever made!

    Gallbladder Removal

I just had my gallbladder out about a week ago. So it's been about 4 months since my sleeve. The itching around my incisions from the tape, O.M.G.
  4. G2 but mostly Crystal light

    March Sleevers

NSV - - Coaching daughter tball team this summer - wrapping a normal size towel around me and it fitting! - people that I know fairly well not seeing me for two months and not recognizing me when they do - dressing up - my hair - it feels amazing and looks amazing. I never realized how the food I put in my body could have an effect on my hair! Ever since surgery and better food choices my hair feels/looks good! Like I just went to the salon that day! - exercising- it's actually a little addictive and the days I don't get my at least 3 mile walk in I feel guilty and crappy. - my hubby being able to wrap his arms all around my waist with extra room to spare. This feels sooo good! - my confidence - it has sky rocketed! I walk around my house in a sports bra and don't feel like I have to hide my body in front of my hubby. I know I have so many more but this is what I can think of off my head right now. What are some of yours?

    March Sleevers

Surgery was March 10th and I'm down 103lbs. I actually enjoy shopping for myself now! My shirts were a 3x (some were pushing it) and now my shirts are mostly XL (some XL even being to big). I want to do another 30 lbs at least I'd not 40-50 (taking small baby steps). I really don't miss food. People eat sweets and junk around me and I honestly do not care. Being "thin" and healthy is a way better feeling. I feel so wonderful!
  7. Hit 101 pound loss today! Woot woot! ???????????? (surgery March 10).

  9. You look amazing!!! Any tips? What have you been doing to make your weight loss awesome like it has been?I've done a lot of walking! At least 3 miles a day 5-7 days a week (depending on weather). And I've stuck with the plan, mostly Protein foods. I rarely eat any carbs (mostly a cracker to go with my cheese snack or a slice of whole grain toast for breakfast (this is rare). I don't think I get all my protein in - that's a daily battle. I'm going to try going back to my protein shake though and see if that helps. Loved them before surgery but afterwards I couldn't stand them. I never had a 3 week stall. I stalled one time for 10 days (due to weather and other things I didn't get to walk a lot which didn't help). But I also know I've done some things not right - occasional glass of wine - so I'm far from perfect. I honestly think I've just been very very lucky.About how many calories were you getting daily? I honestly have no idea. I eat an egg or string cheese for breakfast, then salad, grilled chicken, turkey hotdog or turkey sausage for lunch and dinner. This is what most of my meals look like. I have a snack of cheese with a cracker or some fruit. We do a lot of grilling out so I'm not sure what I'll do when it's winter. Ha! My goal this month is to get my protein up. everything has been going so smoothly with weightloss that I'm afraid to change anything up!

  11. I'm 3.5 months post op and down 96lbs. I have had a couple gallbladder attacks (well what we believe were). Surgeon recommended taking my gallbladder out so we scheduled it for end of July. It is outpatient. He said recovery is easier then sleeve surgery generally. If you have had yours out how was your recovery compared to the sleeve surgery?

    Gallbladder out - who else

My surgeon said fast weightloss can cause it. guess it's a price I have to pay, could be worse. No prescription post surgery other then the acid reflux mess that i have a prescription for.

omg!!!! Success all over that's amazing I can't wait to get my life back and start this journey && actually be healthy and happy!! Enjoy this journey! It's simply amazing. Is it easy- no but well worth it! I'm down 96lbs since my surgery 3.5 months ago. Best thing I've ever ever done (well minus my husband and kids). The confidence I have now- huge! I have bones in my body that I didn't know existed- well at least not for the past 8 years! Haha. But seriously soak this process in and enjoy the ride!
  21. Totally normal. And the crappy eyesight with it! Oh my! That too passes after a few days!

HUNGER - is it really reduced?

For me yes. I'm rarely hungry. When I am I think it's more mental then physical.
