  1. I eat everything on a small tea cup size saucer. I think it is 4 ounces or something close to it. I believe I can take in a little more but I don't. If it doesn't fit on the saucer, I don't eat it. This has been a good measuring tool for me.
  2. Ok. My pity party is over now. I do feel better. Thanks for putting it all in perspective guys.
  3. @@AvaFern I needed to hear that. I really did. I need to focus on the positives and just enjoy life. I haven't felt or looked this good in YEARS!!!
  4. I finally got pass a long stall and started losing again but it's slow. I am still losing inches though. How are things with you @@finediva?
  5. Cyper hugs from DC!
  6. I was sleeved on June 18 and I am have loss 56 pounds in 6 months. My current weight is 202. I am starting to feel a little discouraged because I feel like I am so behind everyone else. I try to keep in mind we are all different sizes but still feel discouraged sometimes. How is everyone else doing?
  7. Congratulations!! This was huge for me too.
  8. Oh.. hang it. Keep doing what you are doing. It gets better. Trust me.
  9. Wow! Sorry to hear this. I really am. You are going to be tested alot (it's sad it has to be by your spouse though). Consider this your first one. Throw the cupcakes, ice cream and anything else he brings into the house. Use it as motivation. Good luck to you.
  10. One night stay. Was off for 6 weeks. Only really needed two weeks but my Company approved 6 so I took it.
  11. Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
  12. Keep water with you at all times. I keep a bottle in my purse, my car, my desk at work, my night stand, etc. Good luck on your journey. You will do fine.
  13. Ingredients: purified Water, HydroLean proprietary Protein blend (why protein isolate {milk], hydrolyzed collagen), malic acid, citric acid, natural flavors, salt, fruit and vegetable juice (for color), potassium sorbate (preservative) and sucralose. (I am not sure what all of that is though). 0g sugar, 2 g carbs and 15 g protein.
  14. Yes there is Protein Water. It is hard to find though. The Vitamin Shop has them. Recently, the Giant grocery store near my house started carrying them. I have seen them in different flavors. @@Essence46 Protein water??
  15. I was only averaging around 750 calories a day. With working out 5 days a week, I wasn't eating enough food. My NUT set a goal of 1100 calories a day in order for me to lose weight. I struggle with it sometimes though. I just don't eat that much. I notice when I eat more calories, I lose more. I live off protein shakes, protein bars, cheese sticks, turkey, eggs, peanut butter, carrots and any kind of greens (kale, collards, etc.)
  16. I took one and showed it to my NUT. She ok'd it for me to drink. It gives you the protein you need along with the water.
  17. Until last week, I was only able to find it at the Vitamin Store. I saw it in Giant grocery store here in DC the other day. It is actually pretty good. A little sweet with a slight after taste but its not too bad. It comes in grape, berry bash, lemon and orange. I like all of them accept lemon.
  18. I agree with Elode. It's soft and will pass. I can't chew gum anymore. I have tried but I can't.
  19. Protein water saved my life especially right after surgery. I still drink it. Does anyone else drink protein water?
  20. I drink one almost every day. Sometimes 2 a day. The chocolate is good. Vanilla is ok but not as good as the chocolate. I also drink Protein Water too.
  21. Wow! What am amazing story! Thanks for sharing!
  22. Hi everyone. Was sleeved on 6/18. I had complications with my blood pressure right after surgery but have been doing fine every since. I pretty much eat anything I want at this point. Thankfully, I make good food choices most of the time. I still drink a lot of protein shakes, protein water and eat protein bars. I still struggle a lot with not eating enough food which is why I eat lots of protein bars and drink shakes. I usually work out 5 days a week. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
  23. Wishing you the best of luck. Don't say goodbye food because you still want to be able to enjoy food (it may take a while to get there but you will). My NUT says not to be afraid to eat. I will always love food. Now.. instead of living to eat, I eat to live. I just make better food choices. You will be fine.
