Perhaps the best skill to learn and try with people is how to change a topic quickly when it comes to your weight. As soon as it starts be ready to ask someone else a question like how's your daughter. Did you hear it's gonna rain tomorrow. Who are you voting for? Yada Yada yada....good luck. Hope they leave you alone some. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

I'm exhausted, specialty because I'm little underweight and that's all we talk about. I'm so tired of it. I start telling people I'm feeling better, I'm eating a lot! ( unfortunately I still can't eat much) with some proper I feel like they are sincere, with others I think they are just jealous. I can't eat out with friends anymore because they will watch what I eat and talk about my weight loss etc. can we talk about something else? At church everyone ask me about my weight, my family and friends all ask everyday if I eat. That's it! I'm tired to talk about. Even if I try to explain they said: well eat ice cream. No matter I explain to them I suffer from Dumping syndrome. I give up!

Hi, Like the previous poster said, continue to work with your Bariatric team and take their advice. Discuss a healthy weight range with the team. I weigh myself the same time of day in the morning when I weigh in. Some people should only weigh in at the Nutritionist or Doctors offices. You should discuss the issues with your Psychologist and Nutritionist including what to do when you feel like weighing yourself and your anxiety. I'm happy you had another day that you were able to eat more. You are doing a wonderful job turning things around! If you think about it, it takes a long time for people to regain ALL of the weight they lost after surgery. Your concentration might be to continue eating healthy so you can start living and enjoying life again. The balance will come before you know it. [emoji4]

thank you! I'm working with both a nutritionist and a psychologist, today was good day I try to eat more, even had Pasta, Greek yogurt, and finally some shaved meet with olive oil and lemon. I was able to keep it down. I need to let myself gain some weight and be ok with it. Because I had surgery to have a healthy life with my kids and husband.

@@foodfighter78, you definitely need to eat more. Have you seen a nutritionist yet? Have they discussed any possible Vitamin or mineral deficiencies at this point? Have you seen a Psychiatrist? I think you were worried about weight regain at one point. Eating frequent small meals is a given but are they high nutritional meals? As someone who has a very small pouch myself as James mentioned. I am 5'6" and was down to about 119 pounds. I made up in my mind I didn't want to be sick or dead for the sake of being skinny. I gave myself permission to gain some weight back. I did this by seeing a Nutritionist and she made a meal plan for me. Even with one visit I learned how to eat frequent small portions that have higher calories. I am now 122 pounds, feel much better and look much better. This is at about 1700 calories per day for me. Ex. Instant oatmeal with fresh banana, a potato with salmon, fruits in between, crackers, cheese-itz's are small and high in calories, adding butter to your potatoes as a fat. I have had complications as well surgically but I work with what I have. This is just an example of how you may help yourself. Also, discussing this with your Bariatric surgeon including a reversal may be necessary if it can't be fixed. Good luck.

I think JP is a great choice after bypass since it helps with macronutrients too. I also take the capsules to get in all my fruits and veggies intake. I do blood next month so will see how or if it has helped in that way too. The Protein Powder has 15 g of Protein so I boost it to over 20 with almond milk, chia seeds and or PB2 powder.

@@Rustycreaks, I actually vomit. It starts with the watering mouth, then the bathroom, then vomit. Thank god, it's only happened 5-6 times for me. After the first two times, I know what's coming within about 5-10 minutes of eating the wrong meat.

I was thinking about this the other day: why people have to put a label on each other? When I was large everyone in my family was concern about my health and outside Beauty, so I was fat, "pretty face"but fat. My sisters make fun of me because of 5 kids I was the only big one. My brother in law one time told me if I was your husband I would go and sleep with another women ( he is an asshole ) now that I lost all the weight I'm too skinny, I look like a zombie, I look sick, skinny is not always beautiful. My sisters are competing with me, going to the gym like crazy. Eating Protein Bars to replace a meal, and ask me: how much you weight??? They will never know. Then they say: you have a skinny butt it's not good need to have some meat not only bones. Etc etc etc
People who just meet me for the first time don't know about the surgery they said. You look great. The change its hard on people. They have to judge you no matter what. Jeoulosy ? Concern? Stupidity?? Who knows but guess what I had surgery for myself I don't care is others opinion, it's their problem not mine.

Part of our own transformation is to learn to be comfortble in our own skin. i can assure you that when my skinny minny girlfriend is told she is too skinny, she just nods and smiles as she is polite. It is her body and other people don't really get a vote and she doesn;t give it another thought. Just to be clear, she is healthy, just a skinny person and everyone seems to have an opinion. I have said it before, people that I meet NOW tend to think i am just right because it is all they know... it is only people that knew me obese who seem to think I am too thin/too fat or whatever....
I sometimes feel like I am too big because I wear a med top and recognize how much smaller so many women are. But truth of the matter is that we are all built differently and as long as you look healthy, and natural for your frame, people don't see you as too heavy or too light - unless they knew you before that is!!!
It is very freeing to just know you are fine and the other stuff rolls off a bit easier.

Doing good. I'm little underweight but overall I'm ok. Family thinks I'm too thin but I actually like it. My energy level it's low. Start 210 now between 116/117 it's slowing down but still going down.
