  1. Amazing!!! You're inspiring! I'm just over 3 weeks out and already stalling. Not too worried- I'm walking 4-5 miles a day, started with a personal trainer and have a great support system ( btw I had bypass). Just kind of frustrating. Good news is my BMI has already dropped over 5 points. That's an accomplishment! But I did think the scale would move faster. I'm at the point where I have decided to only get on it weekly.

I feel a slow but steady loss is the best way physically and mentally. You are taking all the right steps, just follow your doctor instruction and it's great you are exercising! I had to stop In December because my low calories intake, but I'm getting stronger so I'll start again on Monday. ????

  2. I'm exhausted, specialty because I'm little underweight and that's all we talk about. I'm so tired of it. I start telling people I'm feeling better, I'm eating a lot! ( unfortunately I still can't eat much) with some proper I feel like they are sincere, with others I think they are just jealous. I can't eat out with friends anymore because they will watch what I eat and talk about my weight loss etc. can we talk about something else? At church everyone ask me about my weight, my family and friends all ask everyday if I eat. That's it! I'm tired to talk about. Even if I try to explain they said: well eat ice cream. No matter I explain to them I suffer from Dumping syndrome. I give up!

  3. Until couple weeks ago I was eating around 800 cal, I'm now around 1200 . I'm underweight but all my Vitamins and blood work it's fine. I just saw my doctor on wed and he said I'm fine. My nutritionist wants me to upper my calories and gain weight. I'm fine I wish I had little more energies. Some days I push more food down but then is a struggle for hrs. I'm 1 year out. All my calories come from avocado, fage yogurt, nuts, Beans, occasionally crackers or pretzel sticks, no Pasta, rice, pizza, bread, it will fill me for the all day and it's hard on my stomach.

  4. Well this California Italian girl tries to get Soup or meatballs. And fools with her food... And no one seems to notice if i don't make a big deal of special food.

Sorry to mention that eating is not half the fun, exciting, entertaining, hours of eating and drinking it previously was. Yet my body thanks me daily for being healthy.

Sigh ... I guess I just can't have it all..... Literally!

Hi Julie I'm Italian from California too. I just moved in SoCal 12 yrs ago. I still cook all the Italian meals for my kids and husband, it's very hard to work so hard and then can't eat. But I finally eat 2 slices of homemade pizza tonight/ I don't enjoy food like before ????

  5. Couple of years ago I took Wellbutrin and it worked very well for me, but I give me terrible hives after about 15 days. It's was terrible hives all over my body for 1 week. Took me about 2 weeks to slowly come out of it, Doctor things was the Wellbutrin reaction. Unfortunately.

  6. I have 3 endoscopes with balloon enlargement. Because of strictures. My weight is going up trying to eat more. But I'm still around 1200 one day I got to 1800, all healthy calories. It's weird that I already got 3 lbs tho. From 115 to 118. I don't understand if it's a real weight or I'm retaking Water for whatever reason. Drinking about 48 oz of water.

  7. @@foodfighter78, you definitely need to eat more. Have you seen a nutritionist yet? Have they discussed any possible Vitamin or mineral deficiencies at this point? Have you seen a Psychiatrist? I think you were worried about weight regain at one point. Eating frequent small meals is a given but are they high nutritional meals? As someone who has a very small pouch myself as James mentioned. I am 5'6" and was down to about 119 pounds. I made up in my mind I didn't want to be sick or dead for the sake of being skinny. I gave myself permission to gain some weight back. I did this by seeing a Nutritionist and she made a meal plan for me. Even with one visit I learned how to eat frequent small portions that have higher calories. I am now 122 pounds, feel much better and look much better. This is at about 1700 calories per day for me. Ex. Instant Oatmeal with fresh banana, a potato with salmon, fruits in between, crackers, cheese-itz's are small and high in calories, adding butter to your potatoes as a fat. I have had complications as well surgically but I work with what I have. This is just an example of how you may help yourself. Also, discussing this with your Bariatric surgeon including a reversal may be necessary if it can't be fixed. Good luck.

thank you! I'm working with both a nutritionist and a psychologist, today was good day I try to eat more, even had Pasta, Greek yogurt, and finally some shaved meet with olive oil and lemon. I was able to keep it down. I need to let myself gain some weight and be ok with it. Because I had surgery to have a healthy life with my kids and husband.

  9. My weight is getting too low. How do I stop it? How do I gain weight to have energy and feel healthy? I know this his sound crazy. But it's getting out of control. I never suffer for any eating disorder. Trying to push food but it hurts, and I vomit. A get crazy dumping with sweets. I'm hungry but I can't eat enough. 115lbs /5'6'/ 1 year out.

  10. I feel like Sun Warrior is pretty chalky but mixed with other stuff I don't notice as much.

juice Plus has 2 products. Capsules which contain all your vegetable and fruit servings in them and Protein powder. I use both. My kids now do 5 mornings a week of smoothies with the JP Protein Powder. I've seen a huge difference in their health with this minor change. I mix Sunwarrior vanilla and JP chocolate plus PB2 powder and is actually tolerable to drink.

I have a JP rep if you would like to know more.

Someone is telling me about this juice plus. Is it a good choice for us bypassed? I'm getting malnutrition and looking for some help. Premier makes me sick.
