Oh finally someone that feels like I do... I can't explain it neither... one minute I am sad about it... then I am happy..... then it's like holy $ it's going to happen my opportunity in life.... etc..etc... But I am so looking forward to surgery day!!!

Well I like the Unjury. If you don't want to buy the canister...you can order sample packets. I have tried the chocolate, vanilla, strawberry sorbet and the chicken flavor. My fav is the chocolate. The strawberry sorbet is ok but kind of leaves an aftertaste. But it is definitely the best I have tried outthere with a good amount of protein.

Are you following the dietary guidelines given to you? Diet and exercise is what I was told is the key. If I don't put my part of doing both combined and permanently the band will not work it's magic.

My surgeon mentioned the sleeve during the informational seminar. He does not do it-yet. He is waiting on more research for it. He says eventually it will probably replace the bypass. It works as the bypass but less complications. It is permanent. But like the bypass you can gain for same reasons. that's all I remember.

I was told for life as well. And thereafter as you get to take it with you if you want! LOL

Oh yes that is definitely true. My letter said approval until March 16, 2008. StLouisGal, But it probably depends on the State you live in and their regulations. I am confident you wont have to wait more than 15 days to surgery once you schedule it.

They have also revised the plastic surgery and now you must require to have hanging skin past your private area in order for it to be considered medically necessary along with skin problems...etc... oh..and pictures.. hope it helps!

I have been so busy getting the house prepared taking care of the bills and trying to do my homework ahead of schedule so I don't have to worry about it after surgery for at least 6 days. Hi All! I am married. Have two children in the home running around. I am employed in the city of Atlanta. I live in the North Suburbs of Georgia. I moved to Georgia from Ohio. Love Georgia, the people, the weather, and most of all the traffic(not just kiddin' on the last one). But the positive outweight the negative! I am currently 230 lbs. My first goal is 195lbs. My second goal is 175lbs. My third goal is 155lbs. My fourth goal is 140lbs and my Ultimate goal is 127lbs. I don't remember the last time I weighed 127lbs. But it was back in 2005 when I excelled at a medically supervised diet for 10 months before going on a caribbean vacation. When I got back I had gained 10lbs...and just gave up and gained all right back and about 15 more. 230 is my ultimate highest weight ever. Let's turn this scale around together!
