    Thank you all for your input, I think I'll stay with the sleeve like I had originally planned, I have a BMI of 43 and I think it's all how you work it after WLS.☺️

    I've had both a consultation with my surgeon and nutritionist, and the seminar.. Still conflicted.. I have an apt with my surgeon on Wednesday so I guess I'll make my decision then thank you for your input

    I will not miss feeling huge compared to everyone else, going to concerts (like is did last night, fleet wood Mac) and feeling uncomfortable in the seats or on a plane being worried if I'm gonna get the isle seat and if I'm hanging over to the person seat next to me... I just can't wait to feel comfortable in my own skin!!!

    Hi everyone, I keep hearing everyone talk about this 2 week long liquid diet they have to be on before their surgery, my nut told me I only have two days b4, first day anything liquid second day clear liquids.. As I am greatful for only having this diet for only two days but am kind of worries why it's not as long as everybody else..

    I k ow I feel exactly the same!! especially when hair is my profession, what state are you in? I work at Supercuts in NY, and if you go to your local Supercuts there is a 50% off discount, it should be like 667788, go there and ask them, they shod help you, there is a starter kit1,2,3 and 4. Here it goes for around 45$.. Plus the 50 % off, hope this helps and makes sense (long day at work)

    I'm getting my surgery on dec. 30th and am starting the Nioxin now.. #3 cause I haven't lost my hair yet and have color and keratin treatments

    I do! I have it right here in front of me 1- normal to thin looking 2-noticeably thinning 3-normal to thin looking/chemically treated hair 4- noticeably thinning hair/chemically treated

    I'm a hairdresser, and I recommend Nioxin shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment.. I swear by it, start using it asap

    Hi everyone, my surgery date is dec. 30th. I figure it'll take me at least a yr before I get to my goal weight, but does anyone have experience getting plastic surgery in LI, NY, I looked into Dr. Romenelli ya know "mommy makeover" guy???

    Welcome @FrankiesGirl. I'm guessing you both work for a school district?? I also took off around the holidays Bc my mom is a teacher and she'll be around to help me.. But for me I hVe to take a medical leave, so 3 weeks unpaid

    Yes I have lost my total weight already that was my goal for WLS, so I'm not too worried, but I heard about a slump you go thru after awhile.. Just have to keep moving even tho it's hard Bc I'm a hairdresser, on my feet all day, I find it hard to walk after work..

    @idg my bday is dec.11 and I chose to do it on the 30th in between everything, ill be out of the hospital before the ball drops and yes most of tge ppl I tell im getting the surgery thinks I'm crazy

    Yes it is!! Thank god I still have my parents to help me a few day post op being that I'm single and 33 lol almost 34 lol I've done a lot of research myself.. It's great to be educated about what is going to happen to you, (this is why I've creeped Into the post op section) lol
