Hello Im having my surgery on 6 jan 15 i wanted to know if anyone has gone thru southwest bariatrics i live in killeen texas

I live in killeen tx going to be sleeved 6 January 15

I wanted ask you which protein shakes have you tried also are you ordering your vitamins from your doctors office or from somewhere else i told my family we can celebrate Christmas dinner earlier since i have to start my preop diet they thought it would be cool not a regular Christmas dinner but wouldnt you know they request lobster my weakness i kind of feel like this is the last supper but all for a good cause i cant wait to see the brand new kind of me this is my second chance and im not going to mess it up if you dont mind me asking where do you live Im in texas I'll be having my surgery in Austin Tx @st davids hospital

I'm so excited I just got my date for 6 January im so nervous now

Im looking forward to just being overall healthy and not being put in the category that Americans are fat and lazy I'm not going to miss wanting to buy that pretty dress but it doesn't come in your size all the plus size clothing has no sex appeal to it at all I'll be excited to wear a pair of heels and not worrying that my weight might break the heel im be excited not to wear big girl panties I'm excited that i was fortunate to have this opportunity to have this surgery to change my life its like getting a second chance thats what I'm excited for

I had a pe last year its the worst feeling in your life not being able to really breath plus the two week hospital stay i havent been sleeved yet still have one more appointment i told my surgeon about it i was referred to a specialist to run some test bcos he didnt not want me to get another clot when i get the sleeve so had the test done got the all clear just have to get the lovenox shots and be on a blood thinner as precautionary

I have one more appointment then i meet with the nutritionist to go over the pre op information almost there

Just tell them since you have so much time worrying about what im doing why dont you worry about about youself and stop being so negative and fix some of your imperfections maybe they have some insecurities about them self thats why they cant stand to face those demons they rather try to make smart remarks and make people feel bad I look at it this way my grandmother always told me people will talk about you while you are living people will talk about you when you die so stop worrying about what they think and live your life

You can ask your doctor to switch you to Rivaroxaban (Xarelto a blood thinner that you dont have to watch your vitamin k intake because with the warfarin if you arent consistently eating the same amount of green leafy veggies it will always effect your inr level so I would ask more questions to your dr hope this helps you

Not to be funny but thats laxative omg how are you suppose to leave the house in the morning of surgery after taking that I would think you would have to stay pretty close to the bathroom

Im not going to miss buying boots that are wide calf also buying pants that are big on me bcos I have big thighs but small waist finding that prefect dress but its just not in your size everyone saying oh you have a pretty face but what about the rest of me wanting to put on a bikini but just dont have the courage people with their rude remarks they say to others but not to your face
