  1. congrats! Try to keep your protein level high, and carbs on the lower side (no processed) and your weight should stay relatively stable!
  2. How far out from surgery? What is your protein, caloric, water intake? Are you eating anything you shouldn't be? Are you exercising?
  3. I only burned 10,000 thru 10 hours of exercising last week.. Wonder how much that equates to total. As many others will agree with me the machines don't give out proper amount of calaries burned. I don't go by the machines, I wear a heart rate monitor.. I run and bike many miles during the week. I agree, workout machines are highly overinflated.
  4. I only burned 10,000 thru 10 hours of exercising last week.. Wonder how much that equates to total.
  5. @@ladycook9713 Same thing.. I lose 9 pounds last week.. and it wasn't salt retention..
  6. That's a great point.. I had weeks I've lost nothing, but my pants are much looser..
  7. Sounds like she is recovering!! YAY! Finally!
  8. At this point, my NUT told me to increase to at least 800-1000 a day.. once I did, I started losing again.
  9. I'm just forcing myself to wear my bras.. They are getting too loose right now.. but they'll have to make due.
  10. The 4xl option at modcloth is pretty new.. I remember first seeing them a couple years ago, and they didn't really go over an 18ish.
  11. YES! I wear a cami almost every day!
  12. Sleeveless/cap sleeve shirts drove me crazy..
  13. How's everyone doing? I'm not trying to brag, but I finally, finally.. after YEARS AND YEARS of trying to run.. was able to jog 3 MILES last night.
  14. At week 3 I stalled for 22 days.. My NUT told me to increase calories to 800-1000. I was consuming about 300-500 and burning way more than that in exercise.. once I was getting at least 700-800 a day for a few days, weight finally started dropping..
  15. I'm burning way more than I'm eating and I'm losing.. stalls will happen though.
  16. I'm happy to say that ever since my surgery, my depression and anxiety has lifted. I feel amazing, and so much better with 51 pounds off! I think it was mostly anxiety over the upcoming surgery. I will say the brain fog/forgetfulness was terrible the first few weeks after surgery.. when my calorie counts were super low/around 300 and no carbs at all. I stay at lower carbs, but carbs from veggies and fruits help.. so does exercise.. like really getting the heart pumping really hard for 30-60 minutes..
  17. How did you know? What did it feel like?
  18. I'm sure I have a stall coming. I was up a pound the other day, but back down, after starting my period (yay, not).
  19. I don't know why.. But I dropped 8.8 pounds this past week! I was sure surprised!
  20. I'm very paranoid about my 3 getting big, I don't let them have many sweets or anything with high fat content Fats are good tho! Little ones need fats.
  21. I'm paranoid about my kids being overweight. They eat mostly high protein.. Sometimes they have grain.. But not every day. Eggs are a great protein.. We normally have meat and veggie for dinner. Have a protein shake.
  22. U will lose sizes! I have gone down 2 sizes and am in the middle of a size at present which is so frustrating but I have lost 71lb and it's been 2 months since my op What do your kids eat?? Why can't you make a meal where you can eat too?
  23. You will lose a size.. I'm down 45 and just now losing a size.. You are losing fat from all over your body.. It will go.. You might be in your first stall.. it will come. Keep doing what you are doing.. How are your calories? What weight did you start at? Salads are different for everyone.. if you can't tolerate raw veggies, eat cooked ones. I get it.. but it will go!
  24. That incision was very red for a long time but not infected
