  3. I'm so sorry, I believe there is a reason for everything even if we don't understand at the time. My prayers are with you.
  4. What a heck of a day. I ended up having to do a second pre op appt as my doctors office changed the location of my surgery due to my insulin pump. Everything is still on, thank goodness. Few more hours????

  7. I started the diet yesterday. Yesterday wasn't so bad. I'm starving today but no cheats. Will this get any easier?
  8. So my employer is giving me a hard time about taking two weeks off for surgery. They said I didn't give them 30 days notice of "elective" surgery. I've been with my employer 20 years. Go figure!!! I was thinking if my doctor will approve going back in just 1 week. I have a very stressful job but it is a desk job. If I do this, what should I expect? How am I going to feel if no complications arise?
  9. Well my insurance company does not offer the coverage so I decided to pay for it myself. I was going to go to Mexico but found somewhere in MC where I could get it done for 12,500 which was a price I could do for myself. October 28th will be my date.
  10. Oct 28th. I wasn't nervous but starting to get that way as time goes by. I will be out of town in a conference the week before and on all liquids. That kinda scares me.
  11. My date is Oct 28th. I'm in North Carolina. Super excited.
  12. I'm so excited. It will be here before I know it.
  13. I should know next week my surgery date. I'm not that nervous about the surgery itself but I am nervous about how it will be with my diabetes. Are any of you type 1 and how did it go. Did you have many drops? Any advice
  14. You will get through this because you know what the end result will be. Keep that in mind. That is what I'm doing.
  15. My doctor allows Protein shakes as well.
  16. Did anyone have their gallbladder out at the same time they were sleeved ? If so, did you experience any complications because of it?
  17. I'm new to the forum. I started the process in Aug, go back to the Dr next week to get results from all tests. My question is, If you work outside of the home, how long did you take off and when you went back to work, how did it go?
