  1. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for how to control night time snacking. I am able to have great will power all day-but I have the hardest time controlling my eating in the evening. I am not hungry - I know I am not hungry....Oy! I have been at a plateau for 2 months now and am getting frustrated especially since I only have 20 pounds left to get to goal.


  2. I need to get back on track. After my birthday - I totally got off track. I know I am making bad choices and eating even if I am hungry. I have done really well this year. I have lost 110 lbs since October 2007.

    I am just "confessing' my food issue to help me to get back on track. Thanks for listening!


  3. I am having a horrible time with saggy skin on my stomach. I have lost 90 pounds since October and my stomach hangs alot. I have 30 pounds left to go before goal and I will need to fix that.

    Truth is I knew I was going to need it anyway, because I believe my stomach lost all the elasticity in it when I was pregnant with my second daughter. She weighed 12lbs and was 24 inches long at birth. Nothing like giving birth to a toddler to really do a number on your figure!

    The other problem I have is my breasts - I lost alot in them they are now like long tube socks with something in the toe. that is pretty depressing!

    My thighs and arms were able to bounce back pretty well though!


  4. you are not alone. I was banded in October and have recently lost all motivation. My trouble time is the evening while I am watching tv, so I have moved away from the living room to my bed room. I have also taken to brushing my teeth between meals when I'm not hungry but want to eat. I hope that my motivation will return soon and I won't have to keep resorting to other methods besides just being full.

    I will pass for you - you have done an amazing job - keep up the great work!


  5. I have had a bad few days. I have totally been on plan since October (surgery October 24th) and have totally lost my will power. I even lasted through Christmas. On Friday my husband and I went into the City to hang out and then go to a show - We ate out all weekend and I even had dessert. That sent me over the edge. I have not been able go for a few hours without a major carbo crave.

    Seriously, I am even right now totally obsessing over every bite of crap in my house. I have literally eaten so many different things I shouldn't.

    I will be going on shakes and Water tomorrow and Friday to try to detox from the carbohydrates. I am so close to being under 200 lbs for the first time in over 16 years. I just have to put my mind to it.

    This post is just for me to try to get my mind in order. Hopefully by admitting everything, I will be able to overcome my recent eating fiasco!

  7. I was banded on the 24th. I am also on a very strick diet from my doctor. I am on only Protein shakes and Water, nothing else. I have become hungry too. Every day it gets worse. I have not lost anything this week on only 300 calories a day. I think it is because my body is adjusting and in shock from the change in calories I intake.

    Hang in there. The weight will come off, just be patient. What kind of foods are you allowed to have? Also are you exercising?
