  1. I am 42 years old and will be 43 in June. This has been for sometime and it is really depressing to me! Yes I have thought that I am going through menopause because they say that having the gastric surgery that it can send your body into early menopause. I just don’t know what to do?!?!?!😢

  2. Ok.... so I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery in March of 2015,, so almost 5 years ago. So have any of you “old timers”. The women on here,, had a problem of having a TOTAL LOSS of sex drive??? I never lost the desire to eat! I have always been hungry from day 1! So with that being said I think the doctor removed my sex hormones instead of my hunger hormones!! Does that make sense? Thank you!!

  3. @@mrs w well I eat all day long!! It works for me, might not for others. Eat 6 small "meals" (there really not meals) cause we all know that we can't eat much!! Anyway I make sure I keep my Protein up along with lots of fluids!! So in the morning I will have one scrambled egg or hard boiled with some fruit, might have a string cheese or cottage cheese for snack. For lunch I Wil have some chicken salad or 3 meat and cheese rolled up. For a snack I will have some nuts or some fruit. For dinner it's always chicken!!!! I love chicken!!! No its not that bad, I will eat chicken or fish or pork with veggies, I love veggies! Don't care what kind! Really, I try to keep variety up in my diet. I don't count all that nonsense! Try to stay away from the breads even though I still treat myself to a flat bread or a pannin even though IT'S NOT MUCH! Variety and frequency are key for me! Eating often tells your body you won't starve it so it tends to let the fat go easier if you starve it, it will store it! Well I hope this helps at least a little, and good luck on your weight loss journey!

  4. Hello Everyone!!! I had my surgery done March 11, 2015 so I've had time to see how things are going, for me at least! I started at 5'1 and 170 lbs my BMI was at 32. Cash pay was the only way for me and I would do it all over again! I now weigh 100 lbs and feel so much better! I lost 70 lbs and it happened in a total of about 9 months, reaching my goal weight @ 7 months! So anyone with a low BMI can do this!!!!!!! Good luck to all

  5. I had my surgery march 11th. I went thru the same feelings you are, I'm sorry that they are not being discreet about there "habits" my honey was great and kept it all under wraps but the kids, not so much! Kids are kids they don't understand. Well I promise all of the bad feelings will soon pass, I still do get upset when I see someone eating a big juicy burger, because I can't even take one bite, but then I look at myself in the mirror and not having the burger is worth it! Well good luck and it will get better
