Hi everyone, bit worried about acs myself, have an app for the 8thof feb when I called up to confirm they told me it wasnt in their books, I was livid, I gave her a right earful, She gave me an app for 11.30 on the 8th, Iwas so angry. I had made the app 3 weeks ago. I hope Lou might give us some idea of whats going on. Ill ask her anyway. anyone else going for a fill on the 8th (am)BYE FOR NOW LUV ROE

Great news Paulina, I know how worried you were.when things go wrong tor me I feel like the bottom has dropped out my world. its great news about Mr Jan.I really liked him.I find him to be very understanding.and like Gerri said he had the decency to ring you back. Im in next Friday morn the 8 for a fill does anyone else have a fill that day.They seem to be booked out. I guess it will be hard to get an app now that lou is on her own. Hope all you guys are doing good and loosing lots of weight bye for now luv Roe

hi pauilna sorry to hear your story. you areon the right road ,it sounds like have an infection, you are off 2day for a scan and you will know more,y ou are on anti bs so if its an infection,the healing has started, try not to worry to much, the main thing is you got help right away. most problems can be taken care of in a very short time,and you have your home work done,let us know you get on. luv roe ill say a prayer for you,

Coco i hope your op is over and you are doing good.I hope you have lots of help for a while, take full advantage of it,it may be a long time before you get to put your feet up again.You can chat to all your buddies here. I for one love to read your posts you always have great advice to give,and God knows we need it(i need it ) still no change in my weight,ill be off again in early feb maybe this will be my luckey one. if not then ill be one step closer to it . ive only had 2 fills so im not in a position to give advice.but for whats its worth ,Ive no problems so far, i think if we take our fills a little at a time we will be ok. i was going to ask for 2 ml the last time and then i thought whats the hurry.ive lived with this weight for the last 48 years another couple of months wont matter

hi penny 2 sorry Icant give you any help.all i know is that the last day i was in acs there was a lady there and she had lost 6 st on the band its the first time i heard it mentioned that 4 st was the most you could lose,i think that would be very disapointing for alot of us .i think this is one for our experienced banders. hope you get the answers you need luv roe

hi princess jules Coco& all out there. so good 2 see so many posts thank you all for the advice i 2 was banded in oct ober by jan i have lost 15 lbs so far not what i was hoping for . im learning patients coco is great she keeps our spirits up, we are so lucky to have experinced banders .to give us advice, im back on feb 8 for a fill with lou but i might change that 2 jan .Lou is very nice but talks alot. im not expecting any restriction this time from reading the posts i feel it will be my 4 fill till i get any restriction. i have a 6 mil band in, are they the newer band. there seems to be alot of talk about slippage, does anyone know if we had a slip where do we go .i dont expect jan would fix it coco you had a slip some time ago how much did it cost to have it fixed. , we would need to have a little something put away just in case.ill sign off now from the one finger typest .

hi guys just reading the lastfew posts every one seems so down i know how you feel had fill on friday with lou feels no different had a cooked breakfast on sat morn was starving today i ate a big dinner in the restraunt no problem ts so dishearting found lou very nice she talked alot about what i should be doing as if i dont know, she wants me to have 7 kg down next month dont know how she expects me to do that without rstriction.ill try my best to have a good month, faith if your out there i forgot the web site you gave me .good luck to everyone this week roe.

hi everyone just stopped in 2 say hi. going for my second fill on friday with lou, im realy excited hope i get some restriction. i m hoping ill have a new sexy body by this time next year.or ill settle for the new body the sexy can come later. seems like you had a nice day on sat in dublin do you ever meet on the north side? i would like to meet some time im not great getting round the city

hi everyone and happy n ew year. i hope this will b my best year. its sad to hear whats going on at acs. i hope they keep doing the fills there. england would be inconvient for me in fact it would be impossible with five small kids im like the donkey on shreck there was a little article in sundays irish mail about acs not doing any more opps and where did yhat leave the 300 banded patients.it made me think was it only a matter of time till they stopped doing the fills.does anyone know where we stand legally.ROE

hi kermit you are verry funny.i have about the same weightas you to loose and if it dosmt atart to move soon ill go mad .i was banded in october by jan and have only lost 10 lbs so far ive had one fill. im due another one in january im going to ask lou for two mil have you heard of anyone getting more than a mil at a time. im a woman on the edge at this point.and like yourself santy is not safe. till next time bye

hi penny 2 nice 2 hear from u roe here.DRjan was very nice he is very gentle. Ihad a bad reaction to the gas he stopped by several times to check on me .After he went home I became very ill he came back to see how i was and ave me some meds I never looked back. I have only good things to say about de man . I THINK if i were doing it again Iwould ask him to put some fill in my band. when im being banded. Ive had one fill by him he got it first time no pain at all. he will give you reading on your food or u can ask him anything hes very nice. He will give u an injection to take for 5 days to prevent blood clots the needle is very fine you dont feel anything ihate needles so if i can do it anyone can, you will stay one night,you are discharged at 10 am the follow.ing morning IHOPE THISHELPS YOU SOME as you can see by my mistakes i am very new to de pc but ill keep slogging along practice makes perfect. looking forward 2 hearing from u have u a date yet love roe

hi roe here new girl on the block.been reading all the posts for a while. trying to get up courage to reply.banded in october by dr jan .(yan) he realy nice had my first fill on nov 8 have only lost 8 lb that was in first week.very disapointed .im going to see lou on jan 11 hope she can help will she give me more than 1ml at a time have 1ml in now.great to hear how well every one is doing it gives hope to us new bansterst talk soon keep on posting love to read your stories gives me my fix for the day love roe xxxxxxxxx

hi molly ere, from Cavan.just found this great place. banded on 9/10/07 in acs dublin. reading all the great threads are the fills included in our price im going back on the 8/11/07 for check up im going to ask for a fill. ive not had any great weight loss so far.quite disapointed. anyone out there can :ranger:help
