  1. I got pregnant roughly 3 months after getting sleeved. I had zero complications. I lost about 5-10 pounds until the third trimester, when I gained about 5 lbs, so I stayed under my pre-pregnancy weight. Three weeks ago, I gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby girl. And I was back to my lowest weight within a week or so after delivery.

  2. Yeah, also forgot to add; the walking the doctor will ask you to do while in the hospital is not necessarily walking for exercise. It's to help break up the leftover gas from surgery, and also, I believe, to lessen the risk of blood clots. So don't stress about that. You can go as slow as you need to, and I bet you could even have someone follow you with a wheelchair if you need a break. Don't worry about that part so much, the actual work comes when you are home and healed!

  3. Hi! I'd like having a place to check it!

I'm 9 weeks pregnant, and 5 months post-op. My weight loss has been slow since getting pregnant, but my ob says it's okay to keep loosing, as long as baby gains. I have my second ultrasound at the end of the month, and I'm really nervous! I haven't had any symptoms besides fatigue and constant peeing, and I want to know it's still growing in there!

  4. I got my first ever BFP on two home pregnancy tests!! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years. What do I do now? My doctors office is closed until Monday. I'm freaking out a little bit here. I'm superstitious so I don't want to tell anyone, because I don't want any congratulations yet. Do I look for a walk in clinic that can do pregnancy tests? I don't want to wait until Monday if I don't have to. Again, freaking out a little. Thanks for your advice!

  5. Hi! I'm here too!

    SW: 325 (8/7/14)

    CW: ~266

I seem to be at a very frustrating plateau, it's lasted about 3 weeks now. Did anyone else stall around this point?

I've been working out about 4-5x per week. I started tracking calories on my fitness pal this week, and i seem to hover around 700-800 calories. Do you think I should up my intake a little bit?

  6. Thanks! It's not exactly pleasant for me either, lol. I told my trainer I'm not going for the "9 week" goal the program sets for you. But the next time I'm on the treadmill, I intend to do one more interval than the time before. I'll get there at my own pace, but i will get there!

  7. I recently noticed that my workouts have been getting just a bit easier.

So, I downloaded the c25k app to use on the treadmill. I tried it for the first time today. I made it halfway through the first workout, so a minute of jogging, followed by 90 seconds of brisk walking, repeated 5 times. Sure, I was "supposed" to do it 10 times, but for someone who couldn't jog all 6 weeks ago, I'll take it!

  8. No idea. It's good, though.

Former barista here, let me help. A macchiato is a layered drink. A caramel macchiato has vanilla Syrup, milk, shots on top of the foam, then a caramel drizzle on top. If you get it upside down, it's not layered anymore. It's basically a vanilla latte with caramel drizzle. (Or hazelnut drizzle, if you ask for an upside down hazelnut macchiato)

  9. I recently added a second comforter to my side of the bed! I get so cold at night, I wake up shaking. I mentioned this to a friend of mine, who happens to be a pro MMA fighter. He said when he's cutting weight before a fight (which can involve dropping 10 lbs in a weekend) he's cold too. And basically, what we are doing is similar to an extended weight-cutting. All that to say, I think it's a fairly common problem.

  10. I love Target's brand of workout clothes. Usually find things at a decent price and they are cute! :) Have fun shopping for FUN workout clothes! :)

Thanks ???? how are the plus size options at target? I'm only 9 weeks post op, so I need plus sizes, but don't want to spend a lot.
